As soon as you exit the Clock Tower on the Dawn of The First Day (72 hours remain), you
have 72 hours to get your Ocarina back (72 minu.tes in real time, time doesn't pa.ss when
the game is paused). Go straight to the Laundry Pool and go to the river and you'll see a
stray fairy. Hop across the river to grab it then go back to South Clock Town. Then go to
North Clock Town (Hint: There's a shortcut there behind the clock tower). Then go to the
Northwest corner and enter the cave to find yourself in a fairy shrine. Walk up to the
fountain to make the Great Fairy appear and she'll give you the ability to use Deku
bubbles with B. Then, go outside and shoot the red balloon that the wierdo is attatched to
and he'll fall. Buy the Clock Town map from him then talk to the kid who's trying to shoot
a balloon using a blowgun. Then use a deku bubble to pop the bubble and talk to the kid.
He'll tell you that if you can find him and the other 4 kids by the next morning (About 18
mi.nutes in real time), he'll tell you the code. If you fail, you'll have to do the
challenge again. You don't have infinite tries to do this, though, so I'll tell you where
they are. The 1st 2 are in NOrth Clock Town in corners. the 3rd and 4th are in East Clock
Town (Hint: One jumps off a roof with a chicken). The last one is on the stairs in West
Clock Town. It's almost easy to find them because they walk funny, but don't let them run
past the guards or you'll have to exit then re-enter the portion of Clock Town. Once you
find them all, hurry back to North Clock Town and talk to the 5 boys and they'll tell you
the secret code (It's always 5 random numbers so write them down since they'll only tell
you the code once). Now go to East Clock Town and talk to the kid blocking the way to the
bombers' observatory. When he asks for the secret code, enter it and he'll let you enter.
Now enter the hideout and skip across the platforms (It's hard to see in the dark). Then
turn left and when a skulluta appears, charge up a deku bubble then wait until its back is
turned then fire the deku bubble. After that, keep following the path and turn right to
see a ladder being blocked by a balloon. Shoot the balloon with a deku bubble then climb
the ladder and proceed into the astral observatory. Ignore the scarecrow (Since he'll only
take time off) and walk up the stairs and talk to the old man and he'll let you use the
telescope. Now zoom in on the top of the Clock Tower (No, it's not the Clock Tower that
looks like this)
  
The Clock Tower I'm talking about is this one.
  
Zoom into the top of it to find the skull kid dancing on top of it then he'll look up and
the Moon will make a Moon Tear appear. Now when you regain control, press B to exit out of
the telescope, then the man will ask if you found anything interesting. Walk outside and
grab the Moon's Tear then go back to Clock Town through the Bombers' hideout and then to
South Clock Town. Then go to the flower and a Deku will fly into it and tell you that it's
his property. Show him the Moon's Tear and he'll take it and give you the Town Title Deed
and leave his flower, giving you access to burrow into it with A. Now, head back to the
Astral Observatory through the bombers' hideout and talk to the scarecrow. He'll ask if
you want to dance until dawn/night (Literally!) If it's the first day or night or 2nd day
or night, do it. Do not dance with him on the final day. If you dance with him on the
final day (You can do this to make the wait shorter but it will be harder to find the
upper part of the clock tower since it'll be night). Most importantly, DO NOT DANCE WITH
HIM ON THE NIGHT OF THE FINAL DAY! IF YOU DO THIS, THE MOON WILL CRASH BEFORE YOU REGAIN
CONTROL OF LINK! Instead, head back to South Clock Town and burrow into the Deku flower
then launch yourself to the upper platform of the Clock Tower. Then patiently wait until
the clock at the bottom says midnight. Watch the cutscene then when it's over, you'll gain
access to the upper part of the Clock Tower. Now hurry, because in 6 mi.nutes, the Moon
will crash. Now when you enter, you'll see another cutscene. After the cutscene, shoot a
deku bubble at the skullkid and he'll drop the Ocarina. Grab it and you'll issue ANOTHER
cutscene, this one is a flashback of Zelda giving Link the Ocarina. Now learn the Song of
Time. Now I'll add extra to this because in 4 or 5 mi.nutes, the Moon will crash, so
immediately take out your Ocarina and what the--? What happened to your Ocarina? Where did
those Deku pipes come from? I know the answer, it's because Deku Link plays the Deku
pipes. Just play the Song of Time on them to go back to where you started in this
walkthrough, only this time you'll have the ocarina and the ability to shoot deku bubbles.
