Lord of the Rings: Return of the King Hints

In the level in which you are escaping the Haunted Mountain Aragorn shouts "Hurry everything Collapses!". Instead of running like Gimli and Legolas double back just before the rocks tumble down. You will find the cave is collapsing ahead of you. Therefore you can escape unharmed. (Note this takes many MANY times to get right or for it to work at all.)
