In the Earthrealm village (the only place you cant return to) there should be a chest near the temple that unlocks the krypt key for Kenshi. If you don't get it you have lost him forever.
Outside in Earthrealm if you look in the gazebo thers's a gold chest that unlocks Kenshi for Puzzle Kombat.
