Everyone says to unlock Tanya's alternate costome to fight her at C3 or C2 in outworld, and I found one source that says to fight her right outside the ice cave. Well GUESS WHAT? She's in NONE of those places. That is the one koffin I have not unlocked, because everyone says the same thing because they all copy from each other! I have sat around and waited in all those places, meditating and meditating and she never comes by. Tanya IS pacing around in the bottom left part of the map, just to the left and below the big bridge, but once I complete the mission (just speak to Liu Kang in the city in upper right of map) she just continues to pace in the same way and now just says 'you have already been paid'. I punch her and she just punches me back and knocks me out. So, how do I REALLY unlock her alternate costume? If it's at a certain time on a certain day, when?
