first off,the controls.Accelerate:R.Brake,back up:L.brake:.Slow motion:X.nitrous:B.Control
stick:move.shift up or down(only if you set your car to manuel)C UP or C DOWN.Activate
Crew Members(only in races):Y.Restart car:Z.

Gameplay:first off,you start the game by running away from someone.you crash,and then get
to chose your car.then you have a police chase with someone named Neville. He runs into
cops and kills them(or disables their car,whatever you want to call it) Then he joins you
as your first crew member.you can hire Neville to help you out with races.crew members are
people who help out with races to help you out and help you win.then you can start
racing.to earn some money,all you have to do is win the race in first.crew members can
also win the race for you.you can save up this money to buy cars,improve your car,and pay
for your bounty.

car shop:if you didnt get a car you want in the beggining at the game,then once you get
enough money for it,you can buy it.there's almost a car shop in every region.you can also
sell your car if you want to get more money.you must have at least 1 car in your garage.

Regions:there are four regions of the map that are owned by four to six different
people.their groups are called TFK,21st Street,Bushido,Stacked Deck,Scorpios,Rotor 6,and
your own name.you can make up your crew name at the beginning of the game.And you can also
chose your own symbol for your your crew.they come from a butterfly to a dragon.you can
choose your symbol and change it in your garage.

Claiming territory:there are some territories in the region.these territories have 2 to 3
races in them.beat two of those races to claim the territory.beat the last 1 for more
money or more items.Once you claim all the territories,then you get to face the boss of
that region.

Bosses:once you claim all of the bosses territories,he will want to face you in a race.so
you go to the boss race and race him.if you win,you beat the boss in the canyon.if you win
that,then you will own that region.

Canyon:canyon races are accesible only to boss races.they are the second of the 2 boss
races.in the canyon,there are 2 races.1 is chasing and the other is escaping.in the
chasing race,you drive down the canyon and stay as close as possible to him.the closer you
were to him in the first race,the more points you get.There are parts of the canyon where
you can fall off.make sure you stay on the road during a canyon race.In the second
race,you are the one getting chased down the canyon.if you are furthur away from him in
this race,the opponent earns less points.you can win if your opponent doesnt get as much
points as you,if you pull ahead of him so far in the second race that he gives up,pass him
up in the chasing race or if your opponent falls off the canyon.you can lose if your
opponent gets more points then you,if you fall off the canyon,if he pulls ahead of you so
much that you have to give up,or if he passes you up in the escaping race for too
long.after winning these series of races,you get to chose boss cards that are "the
pink slip",the extra impound box,get out of jail free,and more.you only get to chose
two of these,and four of the six that you can choose are mystery cards,so you could wind
up with anything.

Police:there are police who are looking for you like in the beggining of the game.you will
hear a reading of a police officer in you run into too many other people,destroy a lot of
the cities signs,gates,etc.then they will start looking for you.if you drive near a
cop,then they will start to chase after you.if you want to escape the police,then you have
to lose them or disable their car(or kill them if that is what you want to call it)to get
away from them,you have to lose them or disable their car with a pursuit breaker.

Pursuit breakers:these pursuit breakers can disable the cops car allowing you to
escape.these pursuit breakers range from a giant donut to a burnt down building crashing
on top of them,allowing you to escape.

hideout spots:once you evade the cops for a while,they will start to cool down.the cool
down bar goes a little slow,so they made hideout spots soto fasten them.these are small
secret areas that appear on the small map on the bottom left.you find these and sit in the
middle of them until the cops decide to stop cahsing you.while your cooling down,the cops
can still find you,but in the hiding spots,they can sit right in front of you and you wont
get busted.

Busted:if the police are somewhere close to you and when you are not moving or can
move,you get busted.once you do,you have to pay the fine that you owe to the police. your
car can get caught three times by the police with the same car,but on the third time,they
take away the car.to keep it,get a boss card that increases the number of times that you
get caught.

police conditions:in the beggining,there are cops that are condition 1.they are the
easiest to escape.then it goes up to condition 2 later.these are a little bit harder. on
condition 3,they bring out SUVs and they bring out heavier SUVs on condition 4.the worst
is condition six,where they bring out the silver cop cars that take a while to disable.if
you start out in a harder region,then it could start out with condition 4 or 5.

roadblocks:if the police start getting a little violent,then they set out roadblocks.a
roadblock is a series of cop cars trying to stop you by setting out a row of cop cars.to
get through them,ram the cars and disable them,take a different route so you dont have to
deal with it,or go around the roadblock.

spikebelts:if the police start getting cocky,then they set up spike belts in condition
3-6if you run these over,your tires get popped,and it will make it more difficult to
escape them.

racing types:there are many types of races you can do.they are drift,sprint,2 lap
circuit,speedtrap,checkpoint,and more.
