in the vally of repose the cave known as the "subturranian complex (i think thats how it is spelled) there are white and purple flowers just throw them in(there is a total of three for each flower). but just to get purples go to the perplexing pool and and get to the bottom floor there will always be flowers no matter what because you need purples to beat the boss. note:you can only bring blues so be carfull!!

Well... I havent tried this but someone told me this works- okay so go to the Valley of repose and take out 100 of your pikmin that you have the most of then go in Emergence cave and go down to the Purple flowers throw 5 in each flower and pick them. go back to the ship throw 2 pikin at the ship call them back and leave. After the game saves press the reset button and do it again...and again...and again... or throw 4 pikmin in each flower leave comback and once again do it again and again... and again
