You have to go to the Underground Dam. You need the RAFT, you have to go through like 7 or 8 challenges, the hardest one is the eyes of Doom because you fall way to much on that part. At the end of doing all of the levels there you should get the pick axes.

After you defeat the sorpin spirit a door will open that leads to mountain overlook jump
down from the cliff and nicole will give u the pickaxes.
