Resident Evil 4 Hints

Just save the rocket lancher from where there is alot of items in a glass in the castle level and when u get to salazar u just shot his eye with the pistol,(any gun) and when u see salazar aim the rocket lancher at him and dies with one hit.

I tried this and it is kinda funny go get an egg throw it in a ganados face and he freaks out!

So you wanna know how to get unlinited ammo without gameshark or any other cheat devices? well heres how:

1. Complete professional mode with handgun and knife only
2. No saves
3. No Upgrades
4. Completeing this will make all weapons unlimited with ammo
5. You also unlock a file from Capcom thanking you for completeing the game with these stipluations and how your superior at resident evil 4

If our going up against metal armor after u found all the pieces of the of the ornament to get to the door on the other side you need a shot gun and some shot gun ammo and some flash grenades (the purple ones) there are parasites in the armor u need at least 4 because their is a second wave of armor after u beat the first wave of armor the door lifts up get the queens holy grail if u have the kings grail put the kings grail to the statue on our right and the queens grail to our left then the door will unlock.

This might help you if:
a) You are low (or out) of ammo when you reach the village.
b) You are having a hard time surviving, or
c) You don't want Dr. Salvador coming after you with a chainsaw.
When you enter the village (the place with burning impaled guy), don't run into the house that contains the shotgun. Instead, run into the building with a locked metal door inside ( I think it is to the right of the burning dude). After you are inside, shoot a hole in the wooden outer door and pull out your knife. The door will block most of the villager’s attacks (except flying axes, but you can knife those). Now all you have to do is slash with your knife when villagers get close. Your knife slashes will go through the door, plus it will still allow you to kick.

In the insect cave, you will encounter Nosvitadors that can fly. If you shoot them out of they air before they drop and come after you, they will die instantly. Even knife slashes will kill them instantly if they are flying.

In the insect cave, if you shoot the giant bugs while they are still flying, they will die instantly. Even the knife will kill them with one slash if they are still flying. This is a good strategy if you want to save your shotgun ammo.

There is a bit of a glitch in the game that will allow you to take out and/or knock down 4-5 ganados without taking damage even if you get hit. When you have a pack of 3-5 normal enemies coming at you, take a look at their position. If one is slightly ahead of the rest, you should be able to pull off this trick. Shoot the leader in the head. If it's head doesn't explode, run up to it and kick. If you time it right, you will take out the group of enemies with a single kick. (Leons kick has firepower of 5.0) Also, the kick animation overrides enemy attacks, so even if you are hit, you don't take damage. This is a good way of dealing with closely bunched enemies w/out using shotgun ammo or grenades.

Some have trouble with Krauser even in normal and then when it comes time to get him in professional then get some help, or you can do what I did and use the knife. Just dodge his attacks with either A+B or L+R and then when he gets near enough hold down L to get out the knife, aim at his knees and he falls with one slash (instead of 30-50 bullets) and then hit his head, do this several times and you have him beat, just don't stick around to see the bombs go off, you won't live through it trust me I tried.

In Chapter 4-2 you have to fight 2 Gigantes ( the big trolls) and they each have 15,000 pesetas on them. Supposedly if you want the 30,000 you have to kill them both the old-fashioned way, but instead just drop one of them into the magma pit and kill the other one, then after the fight collect the money from the one you fought, go back a room and then return to the boiler room to find 15,000 pesetas right on top of the magma trap.
