your must do defeat enough robots to do the special attack,
if your activated it,your will be able to shoot
him out with a robot gun!

What i think is right is you get some guns [They are located in the corners] and get one that shoots rather fast the when the robot is flying out of you're reach use the homing attack on sonic and that will elavate you high enough to use the homing attack on the robot. the just keep hitting him untel he falls down on te ground and then when he is on the ground try to get one of the hero specials by hitting the robot's head, then use the special to freez time and use the fast gun to kill it.

hint: If the time is frozen you have infonant amo.
