Sonic Adventure 2 Battle Hints

Whal playing a sonic in city escape In the end With the truck as soon as you hit the ground turn around and use the homing attack on the truck [This glitch works a TON better if you don't have a shield at this point] And after you hit the truck and lose all of you're rings use the homing attack on the truck agian whal you are still invinsable and it will back up keep folowing the truck stay close but not so close that you die. and when you get to the point that has the things that make you go fast go to ither the left or tight of them just keep following the truck untel you get to the wall you summer saulted under to get out with the truck and just stay as close to that wall as you can and the truck will fall into a put.

I know of three extra themes one is if you go to the theme select and spin the analog around in circles you will unlock the secret secratary theme and with enough rings and emblems you can buy the omochao and amy theme at the black market

If you have sonic advance and buy a chao any chao besides the normal chao and send it to sonic adventure 2 battle with the cord if u have them u should know how to do this and then get any shiny chao that u want and make them mate u will get an invisable chao

ps this chao looks really cool with skeleton dogs u can only c his eyes

I hear buy a normal black chao rase it only with shadow teach it alot before it morfs and befor it morfs make it ware a skull and dont let it eat anything but dark fruit and win it a shovel it will morf to be a grim wreaper chao it will carry its shovel like a sieth [the thing the grim wreaper carrys] and if a chao is about to die he will follow that chao everyware untell it dies

If you want a lot of rings buy a hat save the game come back sell the hat but instead of exiting the normal way press and hold X B START come back and do it agin remember things sel for 1 forth of what you bot them for

There is a code that allows you to have a 2 player chao garden and there is a glitch in it that if you walk up to your chao with an animal its stats will just keep going up cool huh

Blue and green stripes are on the chaos hands and fountain like thing on the chao's head.

Thats all for now.

Right after the area where you are surrounded by a blue are, there will be a rail to take you out of it. To the left you will see a platform with a rocket. Jump on the and jult jump from platform to platform untell you reach one that has one of those things that you need to use the homing attack on to go up. Go up it, and there you go.

If you didn't already know, you can make your chao look almost exactly like Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles, Tails, and Amy without hacking with Action Replay. Note: if there is a * next to it, that means I haven't seen what it looks like, but I'm still sure it works.

Sonic: get a spotted egg and evolve it into a neutral running type. After a few years of its life, give it even more green chaos drives and it will turn blue, like Sonic.

Shadow: get a spotted egg and evolve it into a DARK running type. After a few years of its life, give it even more green chaos drives and it will turn red, like Shadow.

Knuckles: BUY a normal red egg from the Black Market. Leave Chao World then go and get a skeleton dog and a boar. Give the skeleton dog to the chao and then give it its eggshell to put on its head, resembling Knuckle's hair. Then give it 1 and only 1 boar and it will gain its hands, which look alot like Knuckle's gloves. Note: if you give it more than 1 boar it will get its feet and tail, which will ruin its look. (evolve it into whatever you want, neutral recommended)

*Tails: Buy a yellow egg from the Black Market (you can sell the shell). Evolve it into a neutral flying type, and it will look a lot like Tails except for the wings. Later in its life, give it RED chaos drives and its ears will turn upwards, resembling Tails' ears.

*Amy- there are 2 ways that I think would make a good Amy chao. The first way is cheaper, so I will list it first.
1st way- buy a pink egg and make it put the shell on its head. Then go out and give it a few bunnies (enough so it will gain its hands and feet but not its tail). Note: this Amy chao will not have Amy's red dress, but the 2nd way will.
2nd way- this way requires you to buy a red egg (sell the shell) but have a pink shell handy. Put the pink shell on the red chao's head, resembling Amy's hair. Give it a few bunnies to cover up the hands, feet, and tail. This way the chao can have Amy's hands, feet, tail, and hair but still have the red dress. Note: evolve it into what ever you want (neutral recommended because of the dot on its head)

To get a Shiny Orange Chao without spending tons of rings is to breed a Shiny Blue chao with a regular Orange Chao.

First you buy an expensive item like an apple or worn out pan then you save and exit from the chao garden.

Come back and get the item go to the Black Market and select sell right at the sound of the cha ching press reset you'll notice you have the money from selling and still have the item.

Keep repeating this to get RICH!

To make invisible chao you have to mate certain chao. They are invisible other than the mouth, the wings, and the ball / ring.
These are ways to make them:
Shiny yellow and any jewel chao, shiny white and any jewel chao, shiny pink and any jewel chao, and shiny lime green and sapphire jewel chao. Jewel chao are shiny chao that cannot be bought in sonic adventure 2 battle, but they can be bought in the tiny chao garden of sonic advanced 1,2, and 3.

Translucent chao are chao you can see through, obviously.
These are ways to make them:
Mate shiny green chao and a jewel chao makes a green clear chao.
Mate shiny blue chao and a jewel chao to make a normal colored chao.

There may be more ways to make invisible and translucent chao.

First get any kind of matallic chao from sonic advance
Then evolve it into a nuetral chao.

Then get any shiny chao and make it
Nuetral too.Then mate those two chao together and you will get a
Translucent chao.

PS the chao's wings, eyes, and it's mouth if it has one

Go to the edge on the right start doing homing atacts and you will flyfall.

All u do is this.............pet ur Chao so he doesnt go any where....next,get the animal/chaos drive u wanna use......go closer....(not too close)....put it down....then walla!!!!!!!! Note....This might take a few tries so try to get the hang of it...

When your playing as shadow and just started the game in one of his levels radical highway in the when you first come in o down the rail up the spring and run across the road for a while and soon you will come to a ramp run off it and either climb the or take the crain and go on to another platform at the top of the boxes [or crain] then go forward there should be a set of springs jump on them and when your in the air from the way you see in the air go left if you went the right way there should be a big spinning thing in the middle of the road press B to summersault under it and then the road should just end with a bunch of rings going across go to the edge of the road start spinning and right before you fall off jump and you should go flying over the edge and on to the other side with another pair of springs go off them and go forward into the glowing green circle with the ring in it and there you go you have the flame ring and you didn't even need the ring dash
note: you can do this the first time you go to radical highway

CHAO HATCHING
First up is how to hatch your Chao. Simply walk up to the egg
you wish to hatch, pick it up with the B button, and hold down
the button. Now just move your analog stick to one side and hold
it there. The egg will be gently shaken by your character. After
a little while, set the egg back down (DON'T throw it). Your Chao
will hatch soon after. Be sure to grab a nut from a nearby tree
and feed it to your newborn Chao. They're typically pretty hungry
after hatching.
One other note, NEVER strike your Chao if you can avoid it. It
makes them terribly angry, and will very easily drop their
performance.



CHAO BASIC
First off, there are 3 basic types of Chao:

* Dark Chao - A miscreant Chao that likes to play pranks.
Black with red as a secondary color.
By getting this chao, you unlock the Dark Garden.
* Neutral Chao - A completely normal Chao.
Starts off as a light blue.
* Hero Chao - A kind and polite Chao with a halo.
White in color with blue as secondary.
By getting this chao, you unlock the Hero Garden.

Anyone can raise these kinds of Chao. A common misconception
I've seen recently is that you need a Hero Seed to raise your
Chao into the Hero form. This is quite simply, not needed. There
is a simpler means of raising your Chao into the form you want.
First off, decide which kind of Chao you would like, if you don't
want to keep them Neutral. For the sake of example, we'll say you
want a Dark Chao. Now then. Go to the 1P mode, and choose Stage
Select. Go to Chao World, and choose either Shadow, Rouge, or
Eggman as your character. Hatch the egg you want to raise to a
Dark Chao. After it's hatched (remember to do so gently!), pet
it over and over. You'll see it gradually change color towards
black.
After a while, it will stop changing color. All you really
have to do at this point is raise it as you would any other Chao.
The only exception is, make certain you raise it with a Dark
character. This way, it will definitely evolve into a Dark Chao.
Both of my Hero Chao's were raised the same way, using Hero
characters.

Another thing to mention is, Chao have stats. There are 7
of them for all Chao. They are as follows.

* (SWM) - Swimming Ability
* (FLY) - Flying Ability
* (RUN) - Running Ability
* (PWR) - Relative Strength and Power

* (LCK) - Luck. Goes up in increments of 100. Raise by
guessing the correct box when opening a treasure
chest in Chao Adventure 2.
* (INT) - Intelligence. Raise by eating a Smart Fruit.
* (STA) - Stamina. Increase by feeding your Chao.

As far as I know, all of these stats can be raised one way
or another. I'll get into that next.
As you adventure through the game, you'll come across two things.
Animals and Chaos Drives. Animals are self-explanatory. Chaos
Drives on the other hand, are those sticks of glowing color that
machines drop. There are advantages and disadvantages to both, as
you'll soon see. These animals and drives come in four basic
colors, though there are some exceptions.

The colors affect things as follows:

Yellow + to SWM
Purple + to FLY
Green + to RUN
Red + to PWR

Animals will have a colored border around their picture. That
is how you know what class an animal belongs to. Let's go over
the animals and their benefits now.

One thing to mention about Ghost Class animals, is that they
affect your Chao in rather odd ways. A bat will turn your Chao
into a ghost (no legs), and the other ones can have some strange
effects as well. Keep that in mind should you use Ghost Animals.
And those are all the animals that you can pick up. As for
where to find them, I'll list that by character and stage.

Another thing to mention is on Chaos Drives. All Chaos Drives
increase their relative stat by 8, and drop nothing else. They
also don't alter the appearance of your Chao in any way. Also,
Chaos Drives can be found on any stage with machines, generally.
The colors are random, so you just have to hope you get what you
want.

Alright, last Basic thing I can tell you. When you give your
Chao an animal, it will give your Chao 2 things. One, it will
change the Chao's appearance. Two, it will give them an
additional little action they can do anytime they feel like. I'll
list the known actions here.

If anyone notices any actions for the Ghost Class Animals, let
me know and I'll put 'em in. Also, sometimes a Ghost animal can
cause the dot above your Chao to turn into a flame. Quite nifty
looking if you have a Dark Chao. (bwahahaha!)


CHAO ADVANCED
This is where I let you know what kind of evolutionary paths
you can take, besides the 3 basic forms. There are a total of
4 intermediate paths you can take. Besides those, you can also
mix types for the Advanced Paths. The following is the
intermediate path.

Green Animals ---> Sonic Chao. Develops spikes on head like
Sonic.
Yellow Animals ---> Alien Chao. Head elongates and gets two
small fin-like things on head.
Purple Animals ---> Nights Chao. Two jester cap-type things grow
out of the head and curve down a bit.
Red Animals ---> Dragon Chao. The head sort of turns into a
horizontal spike.

I don't know what the Advanced Paths look like quite yet I'm
afraid. I'll let you guys know pretty as soon as I find out.

Another advanced thing that very little is currently known about,
is the Chao Kindergarten. You can ask the Principal questions about
Chao raising, check on the health of your Chao, or have your Chao
learn whatever lesson is being taught in the classroom. Also, this
is only a partial list of the classes you can take...so if you see
a class I don't have, let me know of that too.

One of the Advanced things that was just recently brought to light
are the hats. There are 3 known hats in existence, listed here.

Simply grab one of these from the garden and hand it to your Chao.
If they like it, they'll put it in and they'll have a hat. Keep in
mind however, that it can only be removed by throwing or hitting your
Chao. Although I've also been told that they'll take it off after
a while if they get bored with it.


SEEDS & FRUITS
Ah, the last Advanced thing I can think of. How to plant the seeds.
Well, I think I'll show you exactly what I was told. Just as soon as
I pick the clearest, most concise e-mail I got on how to do so. Thanks
to everyone else who told me how though, I'm glad you told me.

Anyway, all you have to do is hand the seed to a Chao that has won
a shovel (trowel, whatever) in the races, and the watering can. Your
Chao will then wander around, pick a spot, and plant the seed.

Here is a list of the seeds that have been found so far, made by
the inestimable Mike Iseri. Keep in mind that the Forbidden Seed
was added by me.

Make a swim/run chao so it can swim and walk on two legs. then enter race for swimming. beat the third level and you'll get the shovel. Give this chao the seed and it will walk around and look for a place to plant it. (Has to be able to walk on two legs because no other chao will take the seed from you, i know cause i've tried many times)

First get a orange egg give it alot of yellow sticks it should be one I was told

When you hatch your chao don't pet it as a hero or dark because it cant be either, oh yeah, HATCH IT WITH SONIC. Give it green drives. After it evolves it with be light green and have spikes on its head and back. It's soooo cute even though Sonic isn't one of my fave characters.

For NiGHTS chao make it neutral/fly/fly
for Reala chao make it dark/fly/none
for Sonic chao make it neutral/run/run
for Shadow make it dark/run/run

OK here are the things you need:
1. ANY chao
2. Knuckles
3. chao world
4. (optional): A bat just for some cool effect.

Take care of a chao with ONLY knuckles and keep it in the chao garden. After you take lots of care of it, It'll turn black and it's dot on it's head will turn into a flame.
Do the same thing with rouge and it'llbe purple!

Easy way to raise Chao skill's is unlock first Tails Level - Prison Lane Destroy all monster's and collect all chaos drives until you've got 10 chaos Drives 'EXIT' go to Chao World be Sonic Knuckles or Tails feed 1 chao all 10 it'll only take about 2 minutes every time! I got my Jolly's Skill's to Swim 'LV99 points 1881'Now I'm doing Run to win races So far LV63!Good luck

Chaos Chao Tip's!!
The very first Chao you got Raise use cheat above (Leave Chao world on for about 10 hours then go back Take to doctor it could of transformed 1!{Warning:THIS COULD HARM YOUR CHAO'S LOVE FOR YOU!}There is a 50% percent chance this'll work. After it has reincinerated 2-3 times (Pink coocoon)Give it all 21 animals. Feed it Chao fruit to be an normal chaos Chao. Angel fruit for it to be an angel Chaos Chao and Dark fruit for Dark Chaos Chao!Hope it helped.

Easy Breed!!
Hatch 2 egg's at the same time same way of hatching, Same Look/Appearence they'll sleep together hold hands Give them both a heart fruit (Not NEEDED) then they could breed and have an egg! Thanx for reading

Underworld Chao Glitch!!
be Sonic go to the Chao garden not Hero or Dark Garden, normal Go to the air part go to the air part walk on the first layer of rock to the weed not the bottom one. jump press A lots of time go wild their then you should go off you can go out the sky and see a glitch go behind the rocks then when your on land some will be underground

Walking on air Glitch!!
Make sure you've unlocked hero garden. Be Tails, go to the top jump and fly to the top of the first chao garden Very high then you'll drop and you'll be walking on air!

Raise 1 Chao and don't need to care Because of age!!
Unlock at least 1 garden unless you only have 3 chaosput all in the garden or school then raise the in the other garden I did with jolly then there age will never change take care of the 1 chao and it'll age slower!
