Sonic Adventure DX Director's Cut Cheats

As Super Sonic, you'll need lots of rings. So, collect lots of rings before you start the stage. Once you're Super Sonic, you have a little bit of space with a lot of rings before you face Chaos. Get a lot of those rings, then face Chaos. (Note: You cannot move backwards as Super Sonic) Now, speed charge Chaos, and once you hit him, press A+B simontaniously REALLY fast. Once you beat the First Stage of Chaos Complete, it will become MUCH more difficult. Don't bother collecting rings. Just build up a lot of speed, and speed charge him. Repeat until defeated.

Sonic Adventure DX is one of the few games that Metal Sonic is a playable character.
And personally, I think this is the hardest way in a game you have to unlock him.
Now this may seem like a pain in the ass, but if you're one of those people that need 100%, or you just really like metal sonic, then go for it.
After you've earned every single emblem in the game, you got him.
You can only be him on Sonic's stages on trial mode though, much like you can only be super sonic in one stage on story mode. So have at it and expect to have anger issues.

If you want to play as character who doesn't go on Emerald Coast, do the following steps:

Tails:

1. Go to the Hotel in Station Square.

2. Go to the bottom right corner, where you will see an invisible wall. This may not work on the PC version.

3. You will see the outside and background of Station Square. Go left and you will be in Emerald Coast.

Knuckles and Amy's ways will be much harder.

Knuckles and Amy:

1. Get the man standing in front of the hamburger shop.

2. Bring him to the hotel.

3. Bring him to the right of the gate that is blocking Emerald Coast.

4. Try to get over him. This will take a lot of tries. For Knuckles, you should glide on him, and with Amy you need to Hammer Jump over him.

Note: If you go to act 2, you will not complete the stage. You will jump on a far-away spring and if you even try completing the level, don't.

1.get some animals in your chao garden.
2.make sure your chao is standing still.
3.pick up any animal
4.come close to your chao but don't give it to him just stay close
5.drop animal to chao
6.If done correctly the animal you gave your chao should should stand still and should still sparkle
7.quickly pick up AFTER you hear that ping sound and give AFTER your chao stops dancing
You may do this as many times you want i did it to my chao that just hatched and in an hour or 2 I got everything up to 99, it's worth the effort! ;)
p.s does not work with food... sorry.

Supplies:sonic adventure 2 battle, sonic advance, controller link cable.
Step1:Get at least 500 rings in sonic advance and buy a silver metalic egg.
Step2:Transport the egg to sonic adventure 2 battle.
Step3:Hatch and transform the chao to make it adult.
Step4:Somehow obtain a shiny chao. (buy or breed).
Step5:Mature that chao to adult and then buy 2 heart fruits. Feed the chao the fruits and then breed them. If u got a shiny grey or shiny white then you will have a chao that has only the eyes, ball, mouth, and wings. If you got a different shiny color, it doesn't matter, because it will look awesome anyway. For example, a bred my silver chao with a shiny orange chao and (wierd as this is) out from the egg a shiny transparent lime-green chao hatched

Jump off a cliff (preferably a high one).Push the A & B button in a pattern very quickly while in mid-air starting with the B button.You should drop VVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYY slowly as if you were flying like your in super form or something.

If you want a gold chao, you have to be the charater Tails. Go to the toy store in Central Park. There will be a gold egg in the window. If you pick it up you will be locked in so to the right of the toy store there is a huge building. When you are at the gate turn left. Then there is a grey rock that looks like an egg. Pick it up and go into the toy store. Drop the grey egg and pick up the Gold egg. Then drop the gold egg and then put the grey egg onto the stand. take your gold egg into the Chao garden and wait for it to hatch. Once hatched, you will have a gold Chao.
