after you beat act one of the first level and you get to the boss at the end of act2 hit the post then after hitting egg robo get yourself killed then when you hit him the second time it should be eggman who comes up not egg robo.

Create levels (S1)- Enable Debug Mode & Level Select. Go to Marble Zone Act 3 & go straight to the boss. Now turn back to Sonic (make sure you are above the floor & lava) then turn back and you should be able to go under here and create a
level using certain blocks...

Running glitches (S2,S&K,S3&K)- If Sonic is running fast on Sonic 2 then Tails may walk in the air after you. And in any game with Knuckles except Sonic 2, at the end of the second part of a stage jump on top of the yellow part and fall off so you are facing it, but not actually on it. Knuckles should run on the spot instead of his celebration pose.

In sonic 3 and knuckles (one of the hidden games) when you become hyper sonic and complete the game (same with knuckles) and the ending roles press A,B,X,B,left,left,up,up,down,start and load the save data of which you had just completed. the screen will turn black for a while and you will see the master emerald. jump on it to become mega sonic/knuckles. walk through a portal to go to the first level

Do the Pick level code above then go to the sound test and play sounds 1, 3, 5, 7. Now highlight special stage #2 and HOLD B and press START

After typing in the level select cheatas posted above in sound test type
4, 1, 2, 6 and you should here a emerald sound than select your level
and hold b+Start on the level you choose
Unlocking all hidden
games

When you initiate Sonic The Hedgehog 1, 2, 3, Sonic And Knuckles,
Sonic 3D blast, Dr. Robotnic's Mean Bean Machine, or Sonic Spinball,
the screen states that it is logging the game data. That indicates the
game is logging in that you have initiated that game once. After
initiating a game fifty times, it no longer shows that game-logging
screen. It stops the logging sequence screen from ever starting a game
again and from then on, just starts the Genesis program itself. To
unlock a hidden game, you must start a particular Mega Collection game
fifty times, continually pressing Z to exit it, then enter into the
game repeatedly. Some hidden games do not necessarily require that you
start up fifty times, but you eventually need to do so to unlock all
the hidden games.

Flicky: Start Dr. Robotnic's Mean Bean Machine before reaching 50
times.

Blue Spheres: Start Sonic The Hedgehog about 18 to 21 times.

Sonic 3 And Knuckles: Unlocked sometime in the process of starting
Sonic 1, Sonic 3, Sonic And Knuckles, and Sonic 3-D Blast fifty times.

Knuckles In Sonic 2: Unlocked in the process of starting Sonic
Spinball and Sonic 2 fifty times.

Ristar: Start all games (Sonic 1, 2, 3, Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic 3
and Knuckles, Knuckles in Sonic 2, etc.) fifty times.

Enter Red, Red, Red, Has Bean and you'll be on Stage 2 on Easy Mode.

Enter Yellow, Has Bean, Blue, Blue and you'll be on Stage 13 on Easy mode.
