Super Smash Bros. Melee Cheats

This is the character that you can unlock in Super Smash Bros Melee and how to Unlock them.

To get an extra life you have to play with at least 2 human players and 1 or 2 computer players. First set it to what is listed above. Then set the lives to 10+. Fight for a while and if you lose your last life wait until the annoucer says that you died. then press start. You should have an extra life.
Note: This works only if you get enough points during the fight.

I submitted something like this before, but I acidentally submitted it wrong. I said that if you get enough points in vs. mode during a match with 2 or more human players you can get an extra life. But I figured out that isn't how it works. What you have to do is go to vs. mode. There must be 2 or more human players. Put teams on and make sure that 2-3 humans are on a team. then if you die you can take one of your teammates lifes by pressing start.

Example: you have 1 life your teammate has 3. you die and press start and you get 1 life and your teammate has 2.

1: Peach's panties

Do peaches forward + A atack.not her smash. pause.turn the camera and look at her dress. you can see her underwear! PS if you do this on the ground face right.if you float and do her up + A move, face left.depending on which colour Peach you are she will have different coloured underwear.try this when you are metal peach! XD

2:Wavedash

Do a jump and immediately press r.or l.if you dont know if you did it right try it with luigi.This is helpful, as you can grab someone with this trick.

U have to have at least two characters

clear classic with 10 different characters (two of them have to be Link and Zelda)
play 500 VS matches

Mewtwo
play VS mode for 20 hr
play 700 VS matches

Mr Game & Watch
clear classic with all 24 characters except him
play 1000 VS matches
clear target test with all 24 characters except him

If u use down+b at the same time pikachu will use thunder

To get mewtwo you can either play vs mode 20 hours or play vs mode 1000 times

Pikachu can use thunder if you press down+b at the same time

ps.it only works on enemies next 2 you unless hes over you or on a platform over you

Ths glitch is to make Kirby be Flat and Fat (unlike he can get any fatter).u go to the final destination stage and be kirby and get another person 2 be jiggly puff,get kirby 2 suck up jigglypuff and do that spin move but while jigglypuff's chargin,kirby must fly up and charge and before u touch the ground,FIRE! (do this rapiditly to make Kirby FLATTER (like a pancake) ) HAve Fun!

To unlock characters a different way, you must must play a certain number of Vs. matches.

On the first level on adventure mode,go to the end(you can use any charactor)and wait until the time limit has 2 seconds on the second part of the time.example:11:32.if you do it right,there will be a short video of mario being replaced by luigi(jumps on marios head and knocks him in the water.lol)beat him,beat the rest of the adventure mode,and you will face him again to unlock him.

To get Mr. Ressetti trophy from animal crossing get a high score of 5 kills in cruel melee.

U need 100 man melee

Select a stage with A or while holding L or R and pressing A and the stage will have different music:

I know how to get Mew I know some of you probably already have him but here's how to get him for people who don't. First beat Classic, Adventure, and All-Star on normal with Mewtwo 3 or less lives. Then beat 100 man melee with mewtwo. Then after that get at least 10 kills in cruel melee (extremely hard!!) And finally beat event "Mewtwo Strikes" then Mew will challenge you.

First off, in a melee character select screen, you can hold b and it will go back automatically.

second, there is a way to play as master hand in a melee or event match or to get a huge amount of KOs on cruel melee. i will explain it as best as i can(it can be done with 1 player or an easier method with 2 players or more).Btw, it helps if you do not have a lot of names or none at all.

1. first, go to any event where you can choose your character(this is the one player version, which is harder to do and harder to explain). make sure your controller is in the third player spot(only way to play as master hand). then go to the name list without selecting a character and scroll to the bottom of the list and press b once you've reached the bottom. then press on the name list again and hold b when you press the name list at the same time you open it. go down to create new name and press a while holding b(which usually cancels out and goes back a page of the menu).if done correctly, it will either go to the stage select screen or to the event or stadium match. you will then play as master hand(it is normal if your game pauses at the stage select screen, but will not do any harm to the gamecube or the disc) to attack with master hand, hold b,a,r,l, or z and press on any direction of the directional pad to do an attack(d-pad is under control stick)

2. this method to play as master hand is for 2 players or more and is much easier than doing it with one player. first, go to a 2player match. then on the third player slot, scroll down the name select to the create new name, but don't press it. then with the other controller in any other slot, go to the basck button at the top right of the character select screen, but choose a character you want to melee with first. then at the same time, press the back button on the screen and the create new name button at the same time. if done correctly, it should take you to the stage select screen or to a random match if your stage select is on random. it is just as common for the game to pause on this method as it is for one player and the attacks are just the same as when you face him in event match 50 or classic mode. If you go to a melee without it pausing, you should have the match, but it may pause after each match. it has happened to me every time.

You can get characters by completing tasks or a certain amount of matches i always do the tasks though T_T i never got a character by matches T_T.

(p.s. the matches absoulutly have to be in v.s. not adventure/classic.)
