Now we have all heard by now (at least anyone reading this) on how to get the many secret
characters in SSBM. We know how to get Mewtwo, we know how to get the very interesting Mr.
Game and Watch. But here on this little site, I have discovered how to get a character
that know one knows about, that the strategy guides do not tell, that Nintendo has been
hiding from you. Now I know what your saying, this guy is lieing. If there really was a
secret character someone would have found them by now, right? Thats correct and it was me.
Now here is the character... Toad! Now before I start off, I will seriously say "THIS IS
NOT A FAKE" try it for yourself, it is not that difficult. This is not an April Fools joke
or Sonic and Tails bull****, this is the real deal. I think Nintendo through him in here
as a surprise to people who completed the game inside and out. Also I would recommend that
you have all the secret characters, events, and stages all completed and at hand. I don't
know if this is necessary, but it is what I had, and a friend of mine who didn't have all
the events completed tried the trick and it didn't work, so I would recommend it.HOW TO
GET HIM
Ok, as a I mentioned above, have all the necessary things at hand, I don't think you need
all the trophies, because I don't have all the trophies. First beat the cl***ic on any
mode "easy stuff" and wait for the credits to come up. Now here is the tricky part. Hit
all the credits including the adds for Nintendo. If you did this correctly, you should be
able to hit the credit at the end that previously was unhittable. Nothing will happen, but
it doesn't end there. Go into Adventure mode and select any character.Go to the area where
you fight all the Yoshi's. Easily defeat them, and move on. Complete the mode without
using continues, just like you did with getting Falco. I don't know if this is a
necessity, but I am telling you how I did it. After completing the mode, you will be
challenged by a new character.At this point I imagine you know what to do. Beat the little
bastard, and you have him for your control. Now you would expect that a character this
hidden would be hard to fight, but No! This guy is so easy, he's laughable, and the only
thing he does good, is he runs fast! Really fast!
Now you can play as Toad, but if you beat cl***ic mode with him, there is no FMV, and you
don't get any new trohpies, which in my opinion ****! His moves are pretty much the same
as the Princess's. He picks up a turnups and mushrooms from the ground, he as a pretty
crappy taught, where he sort of waves at you, but the flip side is he moves really fast,
the fastest character in the game.
Also, what I find really wierd is that he is not in the All Star mode, and why arn't there
any new events with him in it?
Well anyways, enjoy playing with the little guy, but on another interesting note, in the
player select screen, he appears beside Roy, and there is an empty space beside Pichu, is
there another secret character in the game? I think I leave that up to you readers to find
him. Also what has just come to my attention is that once you get Toad, he will no longer
be in the Mushroom Kingdom background. If you go to page 18, in your user manual, look at
the two top pictures, they are of Mushroom kingdom, he is not there. I guess the makers of
the game easily got him or something.
