To unlock Koopa Troopa, beat Classic Mode, Adventure Mode, and Allstar Mode on Very Hard. Then beat 51 Event Matches. Now get over at least 1300 feet in Home Run Contest with at least one character. Now beat Classic Mode, Adventure Mode, and Allstar Mode with the 25 characters. Next, beat the 10 Man Melee, the 100 Man Melee, the 3 Minute Melee, the 15 Minute Melee, and defeat at least 5 enemies in Cruel Melee.

To unlock Petey Piranha, beat Classic Mode with Fludd Mario on Very Hard.

To unlock Fludd Mario, beat Classic Mode, Adventure Mode, and Allstar Mode on Very Hard with Mario. Then defeat at least 15 enemies in Cruel Melee with Fludd Mario.

To unlock Spiderman, beat everything in the game 2 times. Then beat Classic Mode with any player.
