Beat story mode 2 times with any character, then a costume should be unlocked.The other costume is in Mission mode.If your having trouble with the fight with the huge alien thing throw a grill or ice cream cart at it.Then hit it with some melee attacks if its frozen.You can use the costumes in battle mode by pressing Y.Hope this helps!
