Please tell me how to get out of the room with the sign that talks about leading the shadows on lv. 8

I'm stuck at at the very beginning and it keeps asking me to align the Links at the arrows I do it but it does nothing. So I looked around near the river and all I found was a button for gem forces. I need help badly. Please help me!

How do u beat Level 4 area 2

on level 8 the castle how do i get out of the room with the stone that says "you who are guided by shadows may in turn guide sadows..."?

ok i need help. in the secound to last lvl in the castle there is a tresure box behind this brick wall. im sure in it is a moon stone thingy but the brick stops me from opening it. i've tried everything. anyone no what im doing wrong?
