Like the zelda games we've come to know, there is a puzzle that unlocks the basement
floor. Go down the stairs near the Link statue and find the blocks on the ground(they're
big). Now look in the middle of them, it's a picture of the triforce. All you have to do
is push the blocks into the shape of the triforce on top of the triforce picture on the
ground.
