In ff1,your notice when you beat one of the bosse's who controls the four elements,some places can be unlock (like the earth cave when you beat "Fiend"),after you beat the four primary bosses,you can find an "Adamantite" in the air castle area,you give this to the dwarf who is looking for this mineral,he can now create a STRONG SWORD called "EXCALIBUR",then,go to the "EARTH CAVE",there are actually 4 BOSSES there,if you beat one of em,they give strong weps like "Light Bringer,Masamune and etc",go to the other areas you unlock upon beating the four primary bosses in the game,if you beat all of them,you can get the "ULTIMA WEAPON",which is the powerfull weapon in the game,and you can also purchase the "ULTIMA MAGIC" at the Water Chasm i think,but it cost a MOOLAH...hope this help,and RATE THIS DUMB SUCK ASS CHEAT/SECRET which took me 5 minutes to remember at cheat..
