How can I put cheat on my GBA emulator,what is the process?

VisualBoyAdvance?
Is your emulator VisualBoyAdvance?
If it is,follow these steps:
1.Go to gameshark.com and at the left side will be a column.
2.Scroll down and search for GBA SP.
3.Find the game that you want to cheat in.
4.Go to your VisualBoyAdvance,open up any game except for the one you want to cheat in.
5.The top-left corner of the Visual has File,Options,Cheats,Tool and Help.Press cheats.
6.A window pops up.At the bottom of the window there is a button called Gameshark... Press
it.ANOTHER window pops up.
7.Go back to the gameshark website and find the cheats,copy and paste the codes into the
window(one cheat at a time please)with the bigger prompt.The top one is for the name.(At
the website there may be something like [M] Must be on.Please copy and paste it as well)
8.There will be an error that says The codes are for a different game or something like
that.Just ignore it.
9.Disable all the cheats.
10.Switch to the game you want to cheat in.
11.Enable all the cheats.And voila!Happy cheating!
12.NOTE:Some cheats can only be used at a CONTINUED game.Scroll down at the website to
check.If is,they will say Codes must be used on continued game.

Sorry,At step 6 im adding:"Press cheat list"before the "A window pops up".
