Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town Hints

When your wife is pregnaught, the day before the baby will be born she will say "The people at the Clinic says the baby will be due tommorow. If the next day is a holiday, the birth will be postponed a day.

This cheat is by my own expierience.

Popuri is a girl you are able to marry on this game. She works at the Poultry Farm.
Hours:
Mon-Sat/8:30-10:00 am/Harvest Queen Lake
Mon-Sat/11:00-5:00 pm/Poultry Farm
Sun/11:00 am-2:00 pm/Church

If you do not marry Popuri she will mary Kai. When they are married, Pouri will only come to town in the summer with Kai.
Most of Popuri and Kai's heart events will appear at the beach in summer.

Elli is the nurse at the clinic. You are able to marry her. Her favorite items are:flowers, hot milk, honey, and apples. On Wednesdays the Clinic is closed. At this time she stays at Ellen's house. Most of her heart events occur at 9:00 am at the Clinic Thursday-Tuesday. On Wenesdays at Ellens House at 9:00 am. If you dont marry Elli she will marry Doctor. Once you marry her she will not quit working at the clinic.

After you get married if you keep giving your wife gifts a season later she will be pregnaught. You will go to the clinic. Three seasons later she will have the baby if you keep her happy.
If you ignore Gotz for a while he won't make anything for you. To get him to build for you again give him a lot of his favorite items. His favorites are miso soup and farm products.

When you have a son, name it after someone in the village that owns a store. This person will then give you discounts on any item in there store.

This cheat was made by my expierience.

After 8 pm, if you leave your animals outside, wild dogs will sometimes come. If your dog is trained he will attempt to chase it away. Another way to drive it away is to hit it with a tool...like an axe! If a wild dog gets to an animal, the next day it will be unhappy. I have tried this before! Do not try to catcha wild dog in your fence! The next day it will be gone.

After you befriend Harris, he will tell you who he likes. Walk out of your house at 11pm and Harris will be there. He says that he doesn't know if he should tell Aja(Duke and Manah's daughter)that he likes her. Give him good advice and he will like you more. The next night go out at the same time and he will be there. He will say that he told her and that Aja already has a boyfriend.

If you befriend Ann you will learn that her mother died when she was very young. If you go to the Inn on Autmn 5th it will be closed. Go to Mother's Hill and you will see Doug. Talk to him and he will say that today was the day her mother died. Ann gives him a day off every Autmn 5th.

If you befreind Barley you can go to his upstairs. There is another way to go up there without befreinding him though. When the store is still open, go to their backyrd. Stay there untill nightime. This is when you can walk back in and upstairs.

If you drop garbage on the ground, the AP level of villagers will drop. To avoid this, you must discard of it properly. There is a trash can in the Square. You can also burn the trash in your fireplace.

After you have asked Gotz to build everything he can do he will allow you to redecorate. This does not include the Vacation House. You can change the color/shape of the windows, mailbox, or your dogs house.

Buy a lot of Bodigizer XL's from Elli at the Clinic.
This recovers both stamina and fatigue.

In winter go to the winter mine.
The Transportation Stone will be found on Level 30.

In any season the Transportation Stone can be found on Level 255 in the mine by the Hot Springs.

The Transportation Stone will allow you to go to any area on the map including the winter mine in spring-fall.

You must have all the items from the T.V. shopping network which appears on the t.v. in your house on Saturdays. You will know you have everything once they offer you the big bed. It runs at about 10,000g. To make room for your significant other you must expand your house twice. You must also have seen all of the persons heart events, (look at some of the guides available) and they must have a red heart. You must also have 100,000g. Hope this helped!!

If you are playing this game on a GBA Emulator (PC), you can use this cheat.
The Goddess' mini game is 5 days only. In that 5 days, you can earn 300,000 G.
GBA Emulator has its ability to save anytime in the game by pressing Shift + (any from F1 to F10).
While playing the mini-game, save it using that ability and everytime you are getting a right guess, save.
When you've reached 70 wins, you can now have the Pirate Treasure (costs 10,000 G).
You can play the mini-game 5 times a day (50,000 G a day), first 6 days in Spring (300,000 G).
That's it!

Once getting golden lumber from Thomas, do not put it in your fields.
Your AP points on the villagers will drop.
Also, villagers will stop by and yell at you for showing off.

On Friday the 13th you will not be able to watch TV.
It will be all fuzzy and nothing will appear on the screen.

The Harvest Godess Game Show will show spring 1-4
If you get up to a certain number right you will get prizes.
There are two different patterns in which the game sequence will follow:

1st Pattern:
up, up, down, up, down, down, up, down, up, up, down, up, down, down, up, down etc.

2nd Pattern:
the same pattern as the first way except for every down push up and for every up push down.

To change the weather, first save the game before you sleep, then, watch for the weather first thinf

Hannah is Barley and May's dog.
This is the way for your dog and Hannah to have puppies:

Go to Barley everyday and give him either miso soup or buckwheat noodles.
Hold your dog and talk to Hannah.
Then give Barley the soup or noodles.
Hold the dog and talk to Barley.
Hold the dog and talk to May.
At 1 pm May will be at the church.
Talk to her with your dog again.

Do this for aa while and eventually you will have puppies!

The first years in Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town is really difficult BUT i figured out an easier way. My technique is that at the 2nd day of spring, and so on with the whole spring season, all you should do is ship the grasses. Next, in Summer season, befriend with 2 harvest sprites, ask the first sprite to water the crop and the second sprite to harvest it. Dig 6 9x9squares and plant Pineapple seeds(cost 1,000 each bag but worth it). You can also ship items. Look at your money in the 30th day of Summer and be surprised! In the Fall season, buy a basket. go and ship items until the 30th day. Finally, on the winter season get your basket and go to the lake mine. THATS ALL!! HOPE THIS HELPS TO YOU HAVEST MOON FANATICS!!!
