Who is Van? Where is he? Does he come to Mineral town? When does he come to Mineral town because in the mail i got something, it looks like a bottle, and it says that it is Van's favorite thing give it to him something good might happen?

oh , about Van , well you have to connect your game with the game cube which is " Harvest
Moon Another Wonderful Life "to connect your game it's like that throw a flower into the
lake near the spring mine . then after throwing the flower , the Harvest Goddess will
appear . she will ask whether you want to link your game with the game cube . you just say
yes and its connected (i think it's like that somehow , cause i never connect my game with
the game cube before ) hope i help .
