This glitch requires that you have the Sweep ability. Sweep can be an invaluable move, because it not only takes out the area around Aragorn, it also renders him invincible through the attack animation. Try this: find some archers and let them shoot at you. Before the arrow hits you, press A to use Sweep. The arrow goes right "through" him without Aragorn taking damage! This technique is really useful if you're a low level and decide to take on the Moria troll, and this leads into the next great thing about Sweep. Normally, the attacks only hit once and deal damage, making a single sound effect. However, Sweep is a "persistent" move; attack the troll with it and you'l probably hear a string of hitting effects. Games operate using steps per second, so every "step" that Aragorn's swords are hitting an enemy while using Sweep, it registers that as an attack, leading to the string of hit sounds when you strike an enemy with Sweep. His sword-throw attack also does this, which helps in fighting Ringwraiths, but Sweep is awesome for dealing potentially big damage to an enemy while avoiding a deathblow from a troll club or even a stab from a Nazgul. (I don't suggest taking on a Nazgul, though, they deal huge damage even if you're at a high level because their swords also follow the steps-per-second rule, injuring you however long they touch you)
