Walkthrough =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ahh..the actual game. I will rate each mission from 1-10 difficulty. 1 means extremly easy and 10 means extremly hard. (Note D means difficulty.) ############################## 8.1 Caradhras - Foothills D-1 ############################## The game begins as Aragorn rushes up the stairs and talks to Eowyn. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Eowyn : Aragorn? Aragorn : Eowyn. If you are going to remain here, you'll need a sword. Eowyn : Theoden has sent me to the caves to protect the refugees. I only want to give you my blessing. Aragorn : It is an honorable charge Eowyn : Aragorn, something more than the approaching enemy worries you. What is it? Aragorn : I cannot but wonder if this cursed quest could unfold differently. Poor Frodo. Eowyn : Who? Aragorn : He is a friend. A friend I swore to protect before leaving Rivendelle. But in the safety of Elrond's house, how could we know the perils awaited us? After this conversation, you'll appear somewhere else with the Fellowship. Aragorn : From Rivendell we head east over the Misty Mountains; to the pass of Cahadras... ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Okay! If you check your backpack, you'll only have a cotten shirt and a short sword. So let's kick some orc *** to get some more stuff! Follow the rock path down south and slay the first two orcs of the game. Aragorn : A flock of Crebain! If allowed to escape, they will alert the enemy. The Crebains he meant were the crows, so slay them before they fly off- screen unless you love Ringwraiths chasing after you! If enough of the Crebains escape (the eye blinks and is extremly big) then you will be chased by Ringwraiths who are tough enemies. Continue through the rock path and destroy the barrel for a padded shirt. Equip the Padded shirt and discard or sell the cotten later on. Continue following the path until: ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Fat Dude : How long do we have to guard this cursed path? Dude # 2 : Shut up! You guard as long as I tell you, pig breath. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Continue north and slay both of the orcs. Go up the path and you should find your first orc archer to slay! YAY! There is a pool there that will restore your health. You should be close to Level 2 now so I would advise you to use your points to buy the Active Skill >> Sword Throw. Why you ask? So then you can throw your sword at Crebains and you don't have to chase them! Go up the past (north-east). On the snow, there is a gray path, so follow that. You will find another pool and two orcs. Open up the chest for some gems and go to the end of the level. ############################## 8.2 Caradhras - Mountains D-2 ############################## Go down the path until you find this giant head. I mentioned that so you would know if you were on the right path! [Note: This path is unecessary but only if you want to Level up.] Go up the path and by the time you reach a giant tree you should be at Level 3 Return back south until you see two giant cylinders, enter through there. Before going south, there is a chest there being guarded, take out the enemies and get to the chest. Go up north and you'll see a blue pool (which refills your energy) and a gray statue a litle west to it. There you can sell your useless stuff. Continue back south and but don;t go west, instead, go back to the gray path that's west of the chest. There is a pool there if you need to replenish your health. Continue west then south and follow the re-continued path to the end of this level. ############################## 8.3 Caradhas - Valley D-2 ############################## Go down the path south then where the path ends go west. There is a forge where you can sell your stuff or buy a random item. Continue all the way south until you find a brown path. Follow that until you find a blue dude. He is quite strong (for noobs lol) and if you still use that wimpy shortsword you start off with. You should be near Level 4 and have a longsword instead. Slay the last two enemies to complete the level. ############################## 8.4 Caradhas - Moria Gate D-2 ############################## You will see a path up north so follow that. When you reach the end, continue west and kill the group of orcs. Go west and and cross the bridge made of rocks. There is a pool and chest with a dark buckler, Take that but you get a minus off of purity. Go up to the shrine to sell your useless things. When heading back south you will be confronted by a group of orcs. Waste 'em. Continue through the route east and: ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Dude 1 : I'm hungry, do we 'ave any Dwarf meat left? Dude 2 : think there is some inside. Get some bits for me. (Note an orc will leave.) ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Slay those hungry losers. Continue east until you see Sam and his horse. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Aragorn : You should not be wondering out here alone, Sam. Sam : I know. I was just saying my goodbyes to Bill. Aragorn : Don't fret.... Your pony knows the way back to Rivendell. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ You will see Frodo and the Fellowship and one orc. (Wake up Gandalf! Can't you see that an orc is attacking me?!? That literally happened and the ***** didn't do a thing about it.) There is nothing else to do so: ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Aragorn : Into the mines! Hurry! (Dadadada) Aragorn : Moria... Home to the Dwarves. Gandalf : This place is a tomb. Aragorn, scout ahead and find the Old stairs. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ############################## 8.5 Moria - West Hall D-3 ############################## Head up through the left stairs and through the first door. After taking out a bunch of enemies go through the second door. Step on a button near the top right corner of the room. A movie shows that a door has been unlocked! Go all the way back to where the Fellowship was, but they shouldn't be there anymore. Head through the right stairs. It is quite tough here so watch out. Go through the left door. In this room you will meet Gimli who will help you. Talk to Gandalf. After talking, go down the stairs. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Gandalf : We will continue downwards. Gimli : Have any of my brethren survived? Aragorn : I will search for any living Dwarves, Gimli. Gandlaf : Very well. Meet us below in the Dwarrowdelf Chamber. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ############################## 8.6 Moria - Cemetery D-5 ############################## You will see yet another button being guarded by orcs south of the spiral staircase. Immediatly press it. Head south-west and through the first door. There are two tough, green and mean dudes there. Kill 'em. Go north if you want to sell you stuff at a forge. Go south through the second door and go south-east to find the second button. Go back to the spiral stairs room and go to the eastern-soutern most room. In this room, near the end is another button. Press it. Continue through to the room with a chest. Open it for some goodies. Head out of the room and go south-west for another room with a button near the end. Go to the spiral room and continue to the nothern-eastern most door. It's now unlocked! Go up and there's yet another button to press! What a lengthy mission! There is a shrine here to sell your stuff. Go back to the spiral stairs room and go up the door closest to the spiral case. There is a twisty path and a large number of orcs climb down from the wall so watch out. Don't open the chest as it is a trap. Head east and up the stairs. Go through this small room to another set of stairs going down. ############################## 8.7 Moria - Dwarrodelf D-3 ############################## If you go up the stiars north-east that leads to a shrine and there is a small bunch of enemies guarding it. Go all the way west and you will see the Fellowship behind another wall. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Aragorn : Are you all right? Gandalf : Yes, but we shall not leave you behind Aragorn! Aragorn : I will find another way around. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Go south as the rock barrier that was there before is now gone. Head east then north near the end. There is a orc spawn site here so quickly run past it. Head all the way past this huge room and go south where there is a door. There is a strong orc here (who's green and accompanied by ordinary orcs). Take care of 'em and go west. Here you will find the Fellowship ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Gandalf : Gimli and Legolas are ahead of us. Quickly! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ They will run ahead as well so follow them. You can go east if you want to get some EP (experience points..duh..) and there should be a herb here when you smash the barrels. Do your stuff and head to the end of the level! ############################## 8.8 Moria - Great Hall D-3 ############################## Head right and prepare for a huge battle because you'll come face to face with like 20 guys. Enter the room and there is a lever here. Head all the way back left to the where you started and keep going until you reach a room. Go inside and you should find another lever to flip, As always, flick the lever being guarded and head back to the stairs. A movie shows that a door has been opened. Go down the stairs and defeat the whole bunch of enemies. You should be nearing Level 7 minimum now. Head down the fat stairs and you'll come across two hulking guys that are very strong. If you go up the slender stiars to your right, you will come to a shrine to sell your stuff. You can't take the long stairs so you'll have to take the long way. That's a long path where there you can go down a ladder near the end. Stay close to the right and you should come to the an exit! ############################## 8.9 Moria - Balin's Tomb D-4 ############################## Go north and you should come to a pool. Keep going past the statues (I know they're beautiful but..) If you head west you'll find the Fellowship and: ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Aragorn : A tomb within a tomb... Frodo : Aragorn, Orcs are near! Aragorn : I hear drums... on your guard! ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Yea! A large number of orcs will rush in (like in the movie..) and the troll will follow you (Kinda dumb..Same as in the PS2 version..) so kill the stalker. (Die!!HaHa!Die!! *laughs evily*) To kill the troll, use Commanding Presense to stun him, then you can run up to him and hit him all you want. Try to lure him near the bottom of the room because orcs don't usually come there. (They find Frodo more attractive and he stays at the top of the room!) After you kill the Troll and pick up the sweet items you get. ############################## 8.10 Moria - Flight D-2 ############################## Wowee! You get surrounded by a bunch of enemies.
