far in the game on medabot island a second time

im pretty far i guess and i just found karin (think i spelt her name wrong) and koji and i need the head medapart plate beam to go through the second door and i dont have that part and i cant go back to go and find it so i dont know what to do and i really wanna finish this game can someone help me on what to do. do i have to start a new game (hopeing not) or is there a way to do it? if you can help me please email me at green_potatos@hotmail.com thanks
