Most of the information are gathered from other people, assorted people. I shall not take full credit of this, as I am merely compiling the information into an FAQ for simple reference. Without Further ado... Boss FAQ: ================ Shademan's entry ================ ------------- Shademan.EXE ------------- Vampiric navi of darkness! Element: Normal Extras: Unaffected by any chips other than dark chips. The SP version is only affected by the buster or non-PA gun del sol chips. V1 HP: 500 Location: Storyline (Normal) V2 HP: 800 Location: Undernet 4 (Normal), Storyline (Hard) V3 HP: 1200 Location: Undernet 4 (Hard/Super Hard), Storyline (Super Hard) SP HP: 1800 Location: Random Undernet 4 Attacks: Bat Ratton: Shademan summons 2 homing bats. They can turn once to home in on you. SoundWave: He appears in front of you and blasts a wave that hits at the square in front of him and the whole row after. Strategy: Just shoot at him to stop him from launching an attack. You cannot hurt him unless you use dark chips. In the first encounter, just shoot and avoid. For the second encounter, thrust and parry till you are given the option of using a dark sword of 500 damage. You might need to hit him more than once depending on the mode you are playing in. Suggested Chips: Dark chips or Gun Del Sols (For the SP version). Try to get them in the same codes as recovery chips for efficient healing. ================== Densan tournament ================== ------------- Aquaman.EXE ------------- Cute exterior hides inner strength. Element: Aqua Extras: Aquaman flooded the whole internet with water for the sake of megaman's quest. Soul: The Aquasoul sacrifices an aqua chip for a 20 damage bubble shot with a very fast charge. You also can chage an aqua chip with the "A" Button when you select it. This soul also prevents you from slipping on ice. V1 HP: 500 Location: Storyline (Normal) V2 HP: 700 Location: ACDC 1 (Normal), Storyline (Hard) V3 HP: 1000 Location: ACDC 1 (Hard/Super Hard), Storyline (Super Hard) SP HP: 1800 Location: Random ACDC 1 Attacks: Faucets: Fountains appear and spray water at you. Stay in the back row to avoid it. The faucets will spray 2 panels ahead of them. Bubbler: Aquaman lobs a bubble 2 squares forward that explodes into hitting one square behind it. Minibomb: Aquaman throws a Minibomb that explodes into bubbles at where you are/were standing. Strategy: Break a panel and stand behind it. This way, his bubbler attack can do nothing to you, as he aims for in front of you. After that, charge and hit him when you can. And wait for good chips. If you can form a PA, it is best to wait for the other chips instead of using them. Suggested Chips: Thunder Ball 1/2/3. That will probably be one of the few electric chips you can get at that time. Paralyzing him will do you good. -------------- Sparkman.EXE -------------- Sizzling Electrical Energy! Element: Elec Extras: Sparkman's operator was a guy who tried to cheat by changing Netto's folder into an almost completely useless one. However, it didn't work. V1 HP: 600 Location: Storyline (Normal) V2 HP: 1000 Location: ACDC 3 (Normal), Storyline (Hard) V3 HP: 1400 Location: ACDC 3 (Hard/Super Hard), Storyline (Super Hard) SP HP: 2000 Location: Random ACDC 3 Attacks: Electric shockwave: Sparkman sends a spark through the ground with an up-down up-down pattern MegamanDS summoning: Sparkman raises his hands and summons megamanDS to attack you. As soon as he appears, move away quick. Elec Mine: He teleports around and shoots a mine. If it is 1 panel above or below you, or it is in front of you, it will stop and explode in an "x" pattern. Strategy: His attacks are easy to avoid once you know them. Use high damage chips or pick on his weakness to wood to end it fast. -------------- Topman.EXE -------------- Spin to victory! Element: Normal Extras: Topman's operator's grandchild was convinced that his grandfather was ¡°Very¡± cool after watching him netbattle. V1 HP: 600 Location: Storyline (Normal) V2 HP: 900 Location: Town 1 (Normal), Storyline (Hard) V3 HP: 1200 Location: Town 1 (Hard/Super Hard), Storyline (Super Hard) SP HP: 1600 Location: Random Town 1 Attacks: Diagonal tops: Topman shoot tops that move diagonally and bounce off the "walls". Anticipate the movement and avoid them. Top Rush: Topman turns into a giant top and rushes for you. Top Crush: Topman turns into a giant top and attempts to crush you. Strategy: Easy to avoid except for the diagonal-movement small tops. Use PAs like Dreamsword or Z-cannon. -------------- Numberman.EXE -------------- Carefully Calculated risk before battling. Element: Normal Extras: Numberman made an appearance in the last EXE games but you could only fight him in EXE 1, where he was very easy. They raised his difficulty considerably. Soul: Sacrifice a +attack/navi (etc.) chip to have 10 chips in the custom menu and to have an extra +10 for each +/- chip. The charged attack becomes a dice-bomb that does the number on its face times 10. V1 HP: ??? Location: The V1 version of this navi is not accessible because he can never be encountered in the Normal mode. V2 HP: 900 Location: Storyline (Hard) V3 HP: 1300 Location: Town 4 (Hard/Super Hard), Storyline (Super Hard) SP HP: 1600 Location: Random Town 4 Attacks: Dice bomb: Bombs of dice are thrown onto random panels on your side. The higher the number, the higher the damage. Destroy them before they go off. Timer ball: Shoots timer balls with numbers on them indicating hp. Shoots 3 at a time so pick the lowest one so you can force your way through to attack numberman. Set Square: Shoots a triangle that flies in a random direction. Strategy: Thrust and parry. He is extremely quick and you must be too. Make your hits count, and make his not count (bad pun). As always, the key to victory is speed. -------------- Gutsman.EXE -------------- Navi of pure muscle and strength! Element: Normal Extras: Gutsman Exe was a rival navi in every other Megaman Exe Game. Soul: Sacrifice a panel-cracking chip to have extra 30 damage added to an attacking chip and to gain access to the guts machine gun. The charged shot becomes a punch that can push certain items into the enemy. V1 HP: 500 Location: Storyline (Normal) V2 HP: 900 Location: ACDC 2 (Normal), Storyline (Hard) V3 HP: 1300 Location: ACDC 2 (Hard/Super Hard), Storyline (Super Hard) SP HP: 1700 Location: Random ACDC 2 Attacks: Hammer: Gutsman slams the ground, causing rocks to fall and the panels the rocks hit to crack. Punch: If you stand in the front row, Gutsman teleports to the front of you and punches Megaman. His fist will be able to become a projectile from V2 onwards. Guts Machinegun: A flurry of bullets. Strategy: He's pretty slow, and his movement is VERY predictable, so he shouldn't be a problem. -------------- Fireman.EXE -------------- Passion burns to be the best! Element: Fire Extras: Fireman last appeared in EXE 1. Soul: Sacrifice a fire chip to have 'firearm' as a charged shot, and have certain panels turn to grass. This is to your advantage as fire does double damage on grass. You can charge a fire chip by holding down the A button. When you release it, it will be a firearm that reaches to the end and does 50+the damage from the chip you charged. However, for all this power you will have a weakness to aqua element. V1 HP: ??? Location: The V1 version of this navi is not accessible because he can never be encountered in the Normal mode. V2 HP: 1000 Location: Storyline (Hard) V3 HP: 1300 Location: Town 2 (Hard/Super Hard), Storyline (Super Hard) SP HP: 1700 Location: Random Town 2 Attacks: Flamethrower: A jet of flame in the whole row he shoots at. Flame line: A fire heads for you, trailing fire panels. Napalm Bomb: Fireman lobs a pair of bombs out of his head. When they hit, they set the panel they land on on fire. Strategy: Fireman is quite easy. Just hit him right after he has performed his attack when he is stunned. ================= Hawk tournament ================= -------------- Burnerman.EXE -------------- Highly Combustible navi! Element: Fire Extras: He is a strong rival with Fireman.EXE. V1 HP: 700 Location: Storyline (Normal) V2 HP: 1100 Location: Park 2 (Normal), Storyline (Hard) V3 HP: 1500 Location: Park 2 (Hard/Super Hard), Storyline (Super Hard) SP HP: 1900 Location: Random Park 2 Attacks: Flamethrower: A line of flame in the row he shoots it at that reaches forward 3 panels. Charge: Charges at you, encasing his body in flames. Torches: Objects that might obstruct your projectile weapons to Burnerman Will move around at random and shoot you if on the same column. Strategy: He would be very easy if not for the torches. Try using rockcube to keep the torches from coming to you. -------------- Videoman.EXE -------------- Plays and rewinds battle scenes to learn opponent's weakness! Element: Normal Extras: none. V1 HP: 800 Location: Storyline (Normal) V2 HP: 1100 Location: Park 3 (Normal), Storyline (Hard) V3 HP: 1300 Location: Park 3 (Hard/Super Hard), Storyline (Super Hard) SP HP: 1700 Location: Random Park 3 Attacks: Tape barrier: A 1 hp barrier that will push you back and will block your attacks. Use a buster shot to disable it first. Tape Drop: Videoman targets a 2x2 area of your playing field and drops a massive, whirling bunch of videotape. It can hit multiple times if you get caught. Playback: Videoman zips to the front row and produces a copy of Rockman, who uses a chip that can hit at the range you are at. For example if he is beside you he will use a sword, if there is one panel separating you then he will use the tornado. Fast Forward: He changes colour to red and moves twice as fast. Rewind: He changes colour to black and heals his hp 1 by 1. Strategy: Perhaps use throwing weapons to reach over the tape barrier, or use suitable navi chips. -------------- Windman.EXE -------------- Light navis will be blown away... Extras: Windman's operator seems to drink some steroid-like potion before going into a major battle... Soul: By sacrificing a wind-blowing chip, your buster shot will have the effect of an Airshot. Northwind will also blow to take away barriers and auras. A gust of wind also blows enemies to the front row, where you will be able to hit them with your charged shot, a fan with a air-sword motion and effect. You will also be able to step onto holes and when you step on cracked tiles, they don't break. Element: Normal V1 HP: 800 Location: Storyline (Normal) V2 HP: 1200 Location: Ajiina (Normal), Storyline (Hard) V3 HP: 1500 Location: Ajiina (Hard/Super Hard), Storyline (Super Hard) SP HP: ??? Break your own front panels so Windman cannot pull you close enough to hit you with the tornados. -------------- Roll.EXE -------------- Cute feminine navi with unexpected healing powers! Extras: Roll's operator is Mayl, Netto's 'girlfriend' XP. Soul: Sacrificing a recovery chip will allow you to have a charged Shot that becomes "Roll Arrow," a 30-Damage Arrow that's decorated with a heart. This breaks enemy Chips if your enemy HAVE Chips uploaded. Whenever you use a chip, it will also heal you of 10% of your max hp. This does not count when you use a recovery chip. Headband: Thwacks with the headbands by teleporting in front of you. Summon: Summons a random enemy to help her. Strategy: Roll is pretty fast and might make your powerful chips miss, so wait for her to teleport in front of you then sock her. -------------- Metalman.EXE -------------- Navi-Of-Steel out to prove himself! Element: Normal Extras: This navi and its operator appeared in EXE 3. Soul: Sacrifice a breaking chip to have break buster and break charge preset. The charged attack also becomes a Metal Fist of at least 250 damage that cracks any armors or Field Obstacles. You will then be able to charge breaking chips and normal chips to pierce shields.
