Alternate title screen:
Complete one of the following tasks to unlock the corresponding icon at the top of the
title screen.


GIGA COMP icon: Collect all 5 Giga Chips
MEGA COMP icon: Collect all 45 Mega Chips
P.A. COMP icon: Activate all 30 Program Advances
STD COMP icon: Collect all 200 Standard Chips
Falzar or Gregar icon: Complete the game
Starred "S" icon: Collect all 17 Secret Chips
Protoman icon: Complete all 35 requests and go to class 6-1 and defeat ProtomanFZ
Bass icon: Collect 200 standard chips, open the mark of "S" gate in graveyard,
and defeat BassSP 
Hint: Fight Bass:
Press A directly behind the giant Cybertree in Green Area 2. The message "A large
pit... It looks like it goes somewhere..." will appear. You will asked if you want to
jump in. Answer "Yes" and you will be teleported to a secret path in
UndernetZero that leads to a gravestone with Bass inside. Approach it to battle Bass.


Hint: Defeating Bass:
To Defeat Bass for Gregar, use the EraseCross. Hit him with a Null Chip (non-elemental)
and he will have a bug that will drain his HP. After that, unleash your full power at him.
Occasionally, you should throw in an EraseBeam (EraseCross' Buster attack).


Hint: Defeating Blastman V2:
Go to CenterArea2. In one of the corners is Blastman V2. He has 800 HP. You may notice
that the two blocks that where on the field when you fought him the first time have
switched to the center of Megaman and Blastman's area. You can use this to your advantage
if you have SpoutCross and Falzar BeastOut at this point. Stuff your chip folder with as
many NonElemnet chips as possible. Then, enter a battle against Blastman V2. Stand behind
the center cube. When you do this, he will almost always use Fire Tornado. After he uses
it, use Falzar Aquacrosses charge up Tornado to kill him instantly.


Hint: Defeating Gregar:
Do not use any souls other than SlashCross. Charge up the Buster attack for SlashCross and
fire it whenever Gregar stops to launch a GospelBreath or the electric attack.


Hint: Cross Beast:
In order to make a Cross Beast, which is a fusion between a Navi Cross and the Cybeast,
you must first be in Beast Out mode. After one turn, when you return to the chip selection
screen, choose a Cross and select "OK". That Cross will fuse with the beast and
it will become a Cross Beast. You can also do this choosing a Cross first and going into
Beast Out mode on the next turn.


Hint: Crossbeast special attack:
To do the Cross Beast special attack, first do a cross then do a beast out while in cross
mode. You will transform into a Cross Beast. Select any non-elemental chip and send to
Mega Man. Hold A and Mega Man will start to change. A yellow energy ball will appear.
Release A button to shoot. Note: Cross Beast and Cross Beast special attack will change
depending of which cross you choose.


Hint: Repairman's tool:
When you are supposed to find the repairman's tool, go to your house and enter the
bathroom. Jack in to the toilet. There should be a Mettaur with a plunger on his head.
Defeat him, go back to the repairman, and talk to him.


Hint: Slashman's knives:
Before you activate the chip, hold B. Use the chip. You will hear two dings and the knives
will hit the closest enemy.


Hint: Virus Battler:
To get the Battler Card so you can battle Virus against Virus, you must go the Cyber City
Academy. Go the room 1-2, then jack in and talk to a strange colored Navi. He will then
give you the card and a hint of where the first Virus battle Mr.Prog is found, which is
the Robodog's comp. 


Hint: NaviCust:
When you go to customize your NaviCust, you can have your program go over the edge of the
Memory Map to still work. It will only go over one block, though, and will be even more
useful if you compress the Customizer Program. Note: You will need the Bug Stopper for
this to work.


Hint: Password to Undernet Zero:
There is a gate in Undernet 1 that leads to Undernet Zero. The password needed to gain
access to Undernet Zero is "729". 


Hint: Undernet door in Undernet 2:
You will be asked the number of flames in Undernet 2. They would be in total equal to
twelve flames. This will lead to Undernet Zero. 


Hint: Net Café gifts:
Go to the indicated Net Café location and keep buying coffees from it. After
you buy a large amount of coffee, the owner of the café will give you an item
as a gift.
