Walkthrough - glitch in mmbn 6

 Glitches

If you install programs incorrectly, you will become glitched. What happens
depends on what you did, and how many times you did it. To get glitches:

1- Place solid programs off the command line.
2- Place plus parts on the command line.
3- Have two same color programs touch.
4- Have 5 or more colors.

You can stack glitches, too.

In battle, if Megaman’s emotion window is flashing, it means that you have a
glitch in your Navi Customizer. There are now 5 different ways to Glitch up
your Navi Customizer:

1) A solid color program IS NOT on the command line.
2) A textured program IS ON the command line.
3) A program is placed off of the designated memory map.
4) Two programs of the same color are touching each other.
5) More than 4 different colors are being used in the customizer.

Doing any of the first 4 things will glitch up that specific program and
cause a specific glitch related to said program. 5 however, will cause the
same glitch every time. Number 3 actually causes more than one glitch at a
time as you get a glitch from each of the same color programs that are
touching one another. Glitches can be generalized into two groups, stackable
glitches and stand alone glitches:

Stackable Glitches:
1) Custom Glitch
2) Hp Glitch
3) Buster Glitch
4) Color Glitch

Stand Alone Glitches:
1) Panel Glitch
2) Emotion Glitch
3) Encounter Glitch
4) Warp Step Glitch

Custom Glitch (Stackable)

Custom Glitch 1
When you open your custom window for the Third time in a battle your maximum
chip selection will be reduced by one. If you had five chips to select from
before, you will now have four to select from. And, every time thereafter
when you open the custom window you will have one less chip to select from,
to a minimum of two chips. Custom Glitch 1 is caused by a glitch of any
single ONE of these programs:
1) Custom 1
2) Custom 2
3) Mega Folder 1
4) Search Shuffle
5) Number Open
6) Folder Pack 2

Custom Glitch 2
When you open your custom window for the Second time in a battle your
maximum chip selection will be reduced by one. If you had five chips to
select from before, you will now have four to select from. And, every time
thereafter when you open the custom window you will have one less chip to
select from, to a minimum of two chips. Custom Glitch 2 is caused by having
two Custom Glitch 1’s, OR a glitch of any single ONE of these programs:
1) Mega Folder 2
2) Giga Folder 1
3) Folder Pack 1

Custom Glitch 3
When you open your custom window for the First time in a battle your maximum
chip selection will be reduced by one. If you had five chips to select from
before, you will now have four to select from. And, every time thereafter
when you open the custom window you will have one less chip to select from,
to a minimum of two chips. Custom Glitch 3 is caused by having three Custom
Glitch 1’s, a Custom glitch 2 and a Custom Glitch 1, or any other combination
that adds up to three.

HP Glitch (Stackable)

HP Glitch 1
During battle, Megaman has a constant HP drain of 1.5 HP per second, and
getting hit increases the rate of HP drain. First hit increases to 1.7 HP
per second, getting hit again increases to 2 HP/second, getting hit again
increases to 2.5 HP/second, getting hit again increases to 3 HP/second,
getting hit again increases to 4 HP/second, and getting hit again increases
to 6 HP/second. 6 HP/second is the maximum drain and getting hit again does
not change the rate anymore. There is no HP drain in the custom window.
HP Glitch 1 is caused by a glitch in any single ONE HP+ program.

HP Glitch 2
During battle, Megaman has a constant HP drain of 1.7 HP per second,
and getting hit increases the rate of HP drain. First hit increases to 2 HP
per second, getting hit again increases to 2.5 HP/second, getting hit again
increases to 3 HP/second, getting hit again increases to 4 HP/second, and
getting hit again increases to 6 HP/second. 6 HP/second is the maximum drain
and getting hit again does not change the rate anymore. There is no HP drain
in the custom window. HP Glitch 2 is caused by a glitch in two HP+ programs.

HP Glitch 3
During battle, Megaman has a constant HP drain of 2 HP per second, and
getting hit increases the rate of HP drain. First hit increases to 2.5 HP
per second, getting hit again increases to 3 HP/second, getting hit again
increases to 4 HP/second, and getting hit again increases to 6 HP/second.
6 HP/second is the maximum drain and getting hit again does not change the
rate anymore. There is no HP drain in the custom window. HP Glitch 3 is
caused by a glitch in three HP+ programs.

Buster Glitch (Stackable)

Buster Glitch 1
In battle Megaman’s regular buster will sometimes fail to fire, when it does
fire it will do regular damage, but sometimes it will do the damage a charge
shot would do. His charge shot will remain as normal however. This glitch
holds true for Crosses as well, but the buster has a possibility of doing
non-cross Megaman charge shot damage, not the damage the cross charge does.
Beast Out remains unaffected. Buster Glitch 1 is caused by a glitch in any
single ONE of these programs:
1) Buster Pack
2) Attack +1
3) Rapid +1
4) Charge +1
5) Attack MAX
6) Rapid MAX
7) Charge MAX

Buster Glitch 2
In battle Megaman’s regular buster will sometimes fail to fire about half
the time and when it does about half the time it will be regular damage and
half the time charge shot damage. His charge shot will remain as normal
however. This glitch holds true for Crosses as well, but the buster has a
possibility of doing non-cross Megaman charge shot damage, not the damage
the cross charge does. Beast Out remains unaffected. Buster Glitch 2 is
caused by glitches in two of the programs that cause Buster Glitch 1.

Buster Glitch 3
In battle Megaman’s regular buster will fail to fire most of the time,
but when it does fire it does the damage a charge shot would do all the
time. His charge shot will remain as normal however. This glitch holds true
for Crosses as well, except that the normal buster shots are only sometimes
as powerful as non-cross Megaman’s charge shot would be, the rest of the
time doing normal buster shot damage. Beast Out remains unaffected. Buster
Glitch 3 is caused by glitches in three of the programs that cause Buster
Glitch 1.

Color Glitch (Stackable)

Color Glitch 1
When you start a battle Megaman will have a random status effect for a short
duration, 5 seconds. You will either be Confused, Blind, Invincible or Invis.
Color glitch 1 is caused by having 5 different colored programs in the Navi
Customizer at the same time and running it.

Color Glitch 2
When you start a battle Megaman will have a random status effect like Color
Glitch 1, but the effect will last twice as long, 10 seconds. You will either
be Confused, Blind, Invincible or Invis.
Color glitch 2 is caused by having 6 different colored programs in the Navi
Customizer at the same time and running it.

Stand Alone Glitches:

Panel Glitch
Glitch will randomly crack any panel you walk over, it is not 100%, but
definitely high enough to trap you quite quickly. Walking over a cracked
panel breaks it as always, but even if Float Shoes is equipped, there is
still a possibility of the panel breaking during this glitch.
The Panel Glitch is caused by a glitch of these programs:
1) Float Shoes
2) Air Shoes
3) Slip Runner
4) Auto Recover

Emotion Glitch
Megaman has an emotional breakdown and is constantly switching between his
emotion windows. When the counter reads 3, 2, or 1 Megaman switches between
his normal and anxious emotion windows most of the time, but he will also
switch to his angry and full sync emotion windows on occasion. Full sync is
practically worthless during this glitch as the window changes in a second
or so at most, even achieving the full sync window by countering will
quickly change to another emotion. When the counter reads 0 Megaman’s
emotion window stays in it’s anxious state the entire time. During Crosses
the window switches between normal and anxious states and Beast out remains
the same, as does Megaman’s exhausted state after Beast Over.
The Emotion Glitch is caused by a glitch of these programs:
1) Humor Sense
2) Rhythmical Poem

Encounter Glitch
Increases the virus encounter rate while Megaman is running around.
The Encounter Glitch is caused by a glitch of these programs:
1) Shinobi Dash
2) Oil Body
3) I’m Fish
4) Battery Mode
5) Jungle Land
Note: Having Shinobi Dash on the command line and glitched at the same time
ignores the Encounter Glitch and gets the Shinobi Dash effect.

Warp Step Glitch
Megaman can only be stopped by a wall when he moves. It’s like having an
in-battle Slip Runner, except Megaman warps from panel to panel, even over
broken panels as long as you have an empty panel on the other side.
Example:

The Warp Step Glitch is caused by a glitch of these programs:
1) Super Armor
2) First Barrier
3) Shield
4) Reflect
5) Kawarimi
6) Under Shirt
7) Body Pack
