Pokemon Crystal Cheats

When you are surfing in the water and when you see a surfer, get out your fishing rod and go right next to the swimmer, then, face the swimmer and use the fishing rod, you will will grab a bite inside someone's head!

Cloning

Cloning is a very dangerous cheat that could destroy your game completly, that's why we
all do it. :D

What I do, just for procaution, I leave one box for cloning only. If you leave pokemon in
a box that are not being cloned, they will be erased.

First, choose a box you're going to use. Make sure you do not do any, ANY, box operations
before this. For example, don't withdraw a pokemon and then clone, it could delete it.

Second, make sure the pokemon you want to clone is in your party. If you want to clone an
item too, atach it to the pokemon.

Third, turn on the PC and go to Bills PC. Once there, deposite the pokemon into the 'clone
box.'

Forth, go to change boxes. Change the box to a box WITHOUT pokemon in it. But don't let it
save.

Five, if you play Gold or Silver, turn the game off when it says, "saving, don't turn off
the power" right before the period. If you play Crystal, turn the game off when it says,
"saving, don't turn off the power." three seconds after the period. The reason why is
because in Gold and Silver, the game saved data from most resent data to oldest data. In
Crystal, the game saves from oldest to most resent. Weird.

Warning: It's best to save right before doing this. And if your pokemon come out with
mixed up names, take the items from them and release them. DON'T battle with them!

Alright, so this will show you how your male character can have a blue palette and the female a red palette. Follow these simple steps. (WARNING: This could take a while. This won't screw up your game, and if done correctly, you could also have a second starter Pokemon.) (Credit to Ryuu1879 on Youtube for the glitch. Start a new game, and when is asks you "Are you a boy, or a girl?", Pick the opposite of the gender you want to progress through in the game. (For a Blue Male, pick the Female first. The opposite is also true.) Then name the character the name you would normally put. (For instance, if you want to be a Blue Male, name the Female character a male name, like John or something. The opposite again, is also true.) Now, progress through the current file until you get your starter Pokemon. Then, save the game. (Yes, even if you're gonna overwrite another save file.) Then, turn off the power and get back to the main screen. Again, start a new game. THIS time, pick the gender opposite of the one in the recent save file. It doesn't matter what you name this character. Now, progress through the game, this time, picking a DIFFERENT starter than the one earlier. (Suggestions: If you picked Cyndaquil in the first file, pick Chikorita. This way, you can beat your Rival's Pokemon easily.) Progress until you get the Pokeballs at the lab. Now, catch a Pokemon. It doesn't matter what it is, just catch one. Now, go to the PC in Cherrygrove City's Pokemon Center. Desposit your starter into the PC and select "Change Box". Change into a box that DOESN'T contain a Pokemon. Now, let it say "NOW SAVING... DON'T TURN OFF THE POWER." But turn off the system a split sencond it says "POWER". If done correctly, when you go to your last save file, you should be back at Elm's Lab, with a Blue Male, and possibly, your other Starter Pokemon in your Box! However, the effect does wear off once you get to Azelea Town. Probably after SLOWPOKE Well, or after your second battle with your Rival. Enjoy!
