After you have recived all 8 badges in the jhoto reigon and the kanto reigon, go to Prof. Oak's lab and talk to him. He will give you accsess to Mt. Silver and you will be able to expolre there!

In order to find Lapras, go to Union Cave on FRIDAY. And then go into the deepest part of the cave. Keep going on land and battle trainers. When you battle this girl, use Surf on the lake until you find a rare Lapras!

All you have to do, is go and find a really strong trainer ( maybe even the Elite Four ) and send out your really weak pokemon that you want to level up fast. Before the trainer attacks, switch your weak pokemon to a really tough pokemon. Then, use your tough pokemon to attack the trainer's pokemon and defeat it. When you are done with the battle, your tough pokemon will get exp. points AND your weak pokemon will get a good share of exp. points too! It will level up until it finally stops! Then, just keep repeating the process until your weak pokemon becomes a powerful pokemon.

When you are out in the tall grass, make sure you have a pokemon that knows the HM CUT, then go out into the tall grass and use CUT, your pokemon will slice a few strips of grass!

When you are surfing in the water and when you see a surfer, get out your fishing rod and go right next to the swimmer, then, face the swimmer and use the fishing rod, you will will grab a bite inside someone's head!

Cloning

Cloning is a very dangerous cheat that could destroy your game completly, that's why we
all do it. :D

What I do, just for procaution, I leave one box for cloning only. If you leave pokemon in
a box that are not being cloned, they will be erased.

First, choose a box you're going to use. Make sure you do not do any, ANY, box operations
before this. For example, don't withdraw a pokemon and then clone, it could delete it.

Second, make sure the pokemon you want to clone is in your party. If you want to clone an
item too, atach it to the pokemon.

Third, turn on the PC and go to Bills PC. Once there, deposite the pokemon into the 'clone
box.'

Forth, go to change boxes. Change the box to a box WITHOUT pokemon in it. But don't let it
save.

Five, if you play Gold or Silver, turn the game off when it says, "saving, don't turn off
the power" right before the period. If you play Crystal, turn the game off when it says,
"saving, don't turn off the power." three seconds after the period. The reason why is
because in Gold and Silver, the game saved data from most resent data to oldest data. In
Crystal, the game saves from oldest to most resent. Weird.

Warning: It's best to save right before doing this. And if your pokemon come out with
mixed up names, take the items from them and release them. DON'T battle with them!

This rough critter chomps at any moving object it sees. Turning your back on it is not recommended.

Here are some useful techniques for pokemon that has rollout, teach it defense curl and rollouts attack will raise higher than normal when you use defense curl with rollout its a good tactic.-------And when you use sunny day and use solarbeam it doesnt have to charge up so yuo can just solarbeam it all over again, and again.-------------and when you have dig in your pokemons moves and magnitude the magnitude raises attacks so you can have 1 hit kill by using dig-magnitude, dfense curl-rollout and sunny day-solarbeam combos

Okay, I got tired of getting the Smootchum and Tyroge EVERY TIME I hatched the stupid egg, until I did a little experiment. Before I went to get the Odd Egg from the old dude, I took care of getting the bike and battling everybody from the park to the forest so you have a good long stretch to hatch the egg at. Then go to the guy and BEFORE YOU GET THE EGG you save. When the egg hatches, if it's not the baby you want, try again. Sure-fire way to get Pichu. Works every time. You might have to be patient, since the more commonly hatched ones could hatch several times in a row. Personally, I always thought the egg baby you got was set at the begginning of the game, but this is much better.

Go to the Dance house in Ecruteak City
Talk to the guy with the Rhydon (amazingly, it can use surf)
he will talk about how beautiful the kimono girls are
he will then tell you to beat them all and hell give you a present
beat the kimono girls (they have 1 pokemon and theyre eevee evolutions)
go bak and talk to him and hell give you the HM

Here is how to get a shiny pokemon in Pokemon Crystal Version: Well, the way that probably everyone knows, go to the lake of rage and find the red gyarados in the middle.

But for a less obvious way: On route 34 (or whatever route comes right before Goldenrod) you should see a building with a pen. That's the daycare, make sure you have an empty slot in your party. Talk to the old guy in there, but save before you do. He will give you the Odd Egg, it will hatch into 1 of 7 pokemon: Tyrouge, Magby, Elekid, Pichu, Cleffa, Igglybuff, or Smoochum. That's why you save before you get the egg, and DO NOT SAVE AT ANY OTHER TIME UNTIL THE EGG HATCHES, OTHERWISE IT'LL BE THE SAME POKEMON EVERY TIME. I read on some website that the egg has a 14% chance of hatching a shiny pokemon, so that's another reason you should save before you get the egg and no other time at all (until it hatches, if you like it, save, if you don't, try again) It works, trust me, my first egg was a cleffa, so I turned it down, because I wanted a magby. My second egg: Shiny Magby. Try it out, it might take a few tries though. The person I got it from said after 15 eggs, he got what he wanted, a Shiny Elekid.

Note: The baby starts with Dizzy Punch no matter what it hatches into out of those 7.

Everyone is thinking you use a stone or smokeball to evolve eevee into these two rare evolutions. They are wrong.
Wrong ways: Stones, smokeball(umbreon)storing in PC box, making it faint a lot, or never using it in battle.
The right way is to keep your eevee with you, make it battle without fainting, giving it vitamins, or leveling it up with the right amount of friendship points. In the morning or day, it will become an espeon. At night, an umbreon. I hope this helps you get a rare Pokemon.

To get pokerus clone a lv. 10 totodile then raise the one that you didnt clone to crocanaw lv. 30 dont let it evolve at lv.30 clone the lv. 30 crocanaw go to your pc it will show a crocanaw its name will be ect. that is your pokerus if you look at its stats it will say lv. 100 and pokerus !! dont use it in battle though your game will freeze!! the good thing for pokerus is it doubles your lv. 30 crocanaws exp. points!!!!!!!!!!!

When you get to the 1st Chamber in Ruins of the Alphs ( Short for Alphabet) you will see that a man is behind the puzzle looking at the word formed by the unowns, if you look closely The word is "ESCAPE" so what do you do you use an escape rope trust me this works 100%. When you used the escape rope you will be outside of the chamber but when you go in there will be an earthquake and when you go to the man a door beside him opened and you can go in. When you go in there are four items but you can only take one item cause if you take all of them the door will be gone and you cant go in that place anymore. But when you go in to the back there will be a crack in the floor and when you fall through there on the floor will be a sentence being formed by the unowns ( I cant tell you the sentence because it will be too long

After beating all 16 gyms in kanto and johto thier was two guys blocking these ways at the gate to victory road go to the left a cave iz thier go through
rare and strong pokemon at the end ash will be thier with pokemon on like 70 and over
his name is red on the game like the 8th in kanto was realy gary but his name was blue

red has a blastoise,venasaur , charizard, pidgiot,lapras ,and raichu or pikachu i forgotz then go to prof oak
he will say u defeted red? u are truly a pokemon master and thier

You have to get the silver wing to the person near the mart in Pewter City then after a while go back in Johto fly to Olivine City go to the northeast whirl island enter it go ahead then go to the left until you will see a hole then enter it.....you will see a waterfall inside go ahead....then go inside a hole there not on the stair....enter it and you will see lugia there....Hint: bring many ultraball and use pokemon which lower the depense of lugia...then weaken it and catch it.......

First complete the game then prof. oak will call and will ask you to go in to her lab end then he will give you s.s ticket

Supplies:

If you wanna be catious, do this on a game you don't wanna screw up.

Step 1: Catch a Sneasel
Step 2: Raise it to level 57 and teach it Beat Up. It must be the third move or else you'll get a different Pokemon.
Step 3: Now, rename your Sneasel CCCCCelebi, or, just put any 4 characters in front of Celebi, like the first name I put up, for example. You could even do a random name. But you still need 4 letters in front of you Pokemon's potential name.
Step 4: Make 4 good clones of Sneasel. Do this by depositing your Sneasel and changing the box. Turn off the game while it's saving, but actually hit the power a split second after the word "POWER."
Step 5: Now, get a bad clone. Do this by doing the same thing but on Pokemon Stadium 2's GBA Tower. But only make ONE bad clone. The clone must be at level 0 and have garbage symbols for a name.
Step 6: Withdraw the bad clone and give it to the daycare lady. After, take it back and its sprite should be mush. Move the bad clone to the top of your party.
Step 7: After, move another Pokemon to the top of your party. WARNING: Don't use a Pokemon you wanna keep.
Step 8: Raise the bad clone in the daycare center. It should be second in your party.
Step 9: Deposit the first Pokemon in the PC, followed by the 4 Sneasels. Remove the mails that they might be holding. As you deposit each one, the name should decrease a letter each time. With draw CCELEBI.
Step 10: Take the bad clone back from the daycare center.
Step 11: Send the Sneasels to the daycare center one at a time. Deposit CCELEBI first, and take it right back. In the video it turns into a Hypno. Next, give the Sneasel name CELEBI to the daycare lady and take it right back.
Step 12: Erase the moves that Celebi doesn't normally learn and level it up and you'll have a legit Celebi.
Step 13: Release the clones, including Hypno. The gameboy won't recognize the clones so you can release them on Pokemon Stadium 2 by doing the following: Go to Professor Oak's Center, choose your game, and go all the way to the right. Now you can release them. This prevents any further potential glitches.


Done! This Celebi will register in your Pokedex and won't screw up you game.

I also suggest watching the video because it shows you exactly what to do.

In pokemon crystal version, and in every other pokemon game, there is a convenant saving screen located in the start menu. Just press start no matter where you are and click save near the bottem. It's that easy! The only places you can not save at are: In a battle, during a cut seen, while someone is talking, when the phone rings, and other related things like that.

For everyone that thinks that you use a smokeball to evolve Eevee into Umbreon, that's not how you evolve Eevee. If you want an Umbreon, you have to use friendship points. Friendship points are invisable points that evolve Pokemon. To get friendship points to evolve your Eevee into an Umbreon, not an Espeon, you need to (if you want to do it the easy way) go to the underground stores in Goldenrod at night. Then have you Eevee groomed at night allot. The more you do it, the better. After you think you've done it enough, which is allot, have your Eevee grow one level at night. If it has enough friendship points (or happiness points) it will evolve into Umbreon. To get Espeon, do everything in the morning or day.

Warning: Friendship points lower if a Pokemon faints, is given something that you are
warned it will make you're Pokemon unhappy, or trade it. Things that boost it's happiness
are, grooming it, keeping it in your party, battling with it, and giving it vitamins.
(calcium, iron...) Things that do not affect it are, storing it in your pc, giving it
other items, cloning it, or talking to your gameboy (lol!).

As for getting to the Smokeball, (which helps you run away in battles) I don't remember.

Well, after you get the egg, walk down the path right down from the gym. Then go right. Go down into the grass. There's a lot of trainers down there, so be on your gard. Keep walking and you'll see a pokemon center and under that is a cave. Go through the cave and you'll be in Azlia Town. Good luck!
