Walkthrough - A VERY GOOD TEAM TO YOUR EMERALD GAME!!Well, did you ever wanted a really good and a really strong team to your emerald game? Then i am going to tell you a few pokemon you can use to crush the elite 4, and by my emerald experience i'm gonna tell you several teams you can use on the elite 4 and to the battle frontier: First things first, if your a guy that loves to get all the starters no problem, get another gameboy or ask to a friend to borrow to you his gameboy: have a link cable or a wirless adapter, have another emerald game or have a fully beaten leaf green or firered game, (by fully beaten i mean, you have to be able to trade with the hoenn region kk) Now start the game chose the starter, and do the usual stuff you need to do to catch another pokemon, now after you do that stuff catch another pokemon and go to the poke center and use link cable or wirless adpter and trade it to your second emerald or to firered/leaf green. To the other starters do the same. Now here is the part i love, time to create a really good team, . for starter chose mudkip, mudkip is the best starter kk, . Now let's star building your team, shall we? first focus on leveling only one pokemon, i am going to tell you why, level up mudkip only him, because he will learn at some point earthquake, now keep leveling him up until level 70 (mudkip evolves to marshtomp, and then it evolves to swapert. well during the game you will be getting hm well teach to swapert the following hm's: surf waterfall and dive, don't worry during the story you will get these hm's, just talk to everyone kk, teach him earthquake, swapert will learn earthquake aroung level 55-60, . after you beat every single gym and trainer in the game your swapert should be at level 70 or 80 something or even level 100, don't worry keep following my advises, . Now it's time to create your team: swapert is a water/ground type so you don't need to get anopther water or ground type because swapert compensates for those types. now you will want a goos gr@ss/flying type poke, don't worry i have the right pokemon to you, it's name is tropius, tropius is a gr@ss/flying type pokemon, it compensates the gr@ss and flying type, teach him the following hm: hm- fly well after you catch him, you can catch him on route 119, level him up at least to level 70 or 80. Then you will want a strong dragon type pokemon, well i sugest you go to meteor fall and you catch yourself a bagon, bagon will be at level 30 level him up one level and it will evolve to shelgon, then shelgon will evolve to salamence at level 50 or 55 (salamence is a dragon/flying type pokemon again it compensates for flying type pokemons, level him up to level 80 or 85 at least, i sugest you level him to level 85 because you are going to need a hight level dragon type pokemon like salamence to the elite four) kk we already have a Water/ground type a Gr@ss/flying type a dragon/flying type you will want to get a strong dark type pokemon for the elite four, well i got the right pokemon for you it's name is absol, absol is the strongest dark type pokemon in emerald so you will wanna get him defenetly, you can catch absol at route 120, absol s very hard to catch because he is a disaster pokemon and absol brings bad luck on catch it, so use alot of ultra ball for it, only ultra balls, after you catch it, raise absol at least to level 75, you will need it on that level with some good dark moves for the elite four. and you are ready for the elite four, your team is: swapert level 70 or 100 tropius level 70 or 80 salamence level 80 or 85 absol level 75 i know what about the other two pokemons, well to crush the elite four you only need those four pokemons i told you but i will tell you another two good pokemons to your team, the pokemons are: (oh yeah i got something stored for you) first you will want a ice type pokemon: your probably wondering well i want the strongest ice type pokemon, you want it well as you wish, get a snorunt, if you don't know how to get it go to youtube and type "how to get snorunt in pokemon emerald" then evolve it to glalie. second you will want a fire or a psychc pokemon: if you want a fire type pokemon get a numel and evolve it to camerup, camerup is a fire/ground tyype pokemon again it compensates the ground type, or you can get a vulpix, top catch vulpix go to MT. Pyre and go to the tall Gr@ss, you know where you get the magma emblem from the old couple in there, but i sugest you get a camerup and raise camerup at least to level 70 or 80; if you want a really good psychc type, the strongest one, get a ralts, you can get ralts at route 102, to catch ralts your first pokemon will have to have max hapiness or else you won't be able to get it; Catch a ralts and raise it to level 85, ralts evolves to kirlia and then to gardevoir. after you do what i told you, your team should be: swapert level 70 or 100 tropius level 70 or 80 salamence level 80 or 85 absol level 75 camerup level 70 or 80 gardevoir level 85 now moves you should teach to swapert and to tropius (hm's) like i said to swapert teach it the following hm's: surf waterfall dive and a really good ground move like earthquake (note that swapert will learn earthquake for itself) to tropius teach the following hm fly; Note that salamence will learn hm fly when it shelgon evolves to salamence kk, also teach salamence the move dragon claw. if you don't know how to catch a bagon go to youtube and type "how to catch a bagon in pokemon emerald" i am quite sure you will see several videos on how to catch bagon. Note: this is very important that you only raise the starter you chose and nomore pokemon kk, so chose mudkip and raise it all the way to level 100, believe me he will be a very strong water/ground type pokemon. kk to go trough victory road get lower level pokemon like maril and nicada and a geodude, so you can teach them hm's so that you won't replace good moves of your hight level pokemon for crappy moves that don't affect much the foe's pokemon kk, teach the remaining hm's to those following pokemon kk to maril teach: rock smash strenght and i think you can teach him cut but i am not sure, to nicada teach flash and cut and i think that's all the hm's so you won't be needing geodude anyway equip your swapert and the lower level pokemon that you teached the hm's and equip other three strong pokemon to get past the victory road. so your strongest team should be: swapert level 70 or 100 tropius level 70 or 80 salamence level 80 or 85 absol level 75 camerup level 70 or 80 gardevoir level 85 and the other team to get past the victory road should be: swapert level 100 maril doesn't matter the level nicada doesn't matter the level other three strong pokemon of your choise; after you reach the place where the elite four are ready to battle you switch to this team: swapert level 70 or 100 tropius level 70 or 80 salamence level 80 or 85 absol level 75 camerup level 70 or 80 gardevoir level 85 save your game, go trough the elite four and the champion and beat them. if your lazy and you don't want to raise that team kk no probelm, raise at least your starter to a hight level get a match bike and go to spear pillar and catch rayquaza, to catch rayquaza buy alot of ultra and timer balls or simply use a masterball, i am telling you thins because, you can use the cloning glitch to get your desired team or even use action replay or gameshark. If you want a damn fine goos team, take my advise and build the team i gave you in this easter egg, i am glad i helped you, i will still be posting alot of stuff about pokemon games and other games, this is the farest strongest team i have ever posted in any site, the team i just posted here could beat my team in emerald, my team in emerald is: charizard level 100 swapert level 100 sceptyle level 100 scizor level 100 metagross level 100 salamence level 100 if that team is all on level 100, i am pretty sure it could easely beat my team. you better take my advise, because the team i posted it's the best team i have ever seen in all the emerald fans and my friends that play it too. None of my friends have that team and i won't tell to them about this team, and if your smart neither will you tell your friends about your team. !!PIECE!! |

oh yeah, you won't be needing a ice type because you have swapert and camerup that have ground type too, i wanted to tell you that that ice guy is very good for electric pokemon but ground is even more effective

u know what i think players with a team full of level 100 legenderies are complete noobs. just cos they are legendary doesn't mean they're the best. a good team would have non-legendary pokemons that ARE NOT level 100.level 100 pokemon sucks, good for a long battle but *** for an adventure, i mean...whats the point in pokemon who are level 100's when ur against level 60's. if u want to have fun with pokemon games then never have pokemon full of level 100's or legendaries.

Hehehe don't make me laugh almost all of you are uber
users(legendary pokemon) so your strong.Yes they're tough but your skills in playing pokemon can't be test by using ubers (I guess) I always use normal pokemon and if I play it the second time third or forth I always try to use different types and pokemon that I didn't use before my first team in emerald was
Sceptile
Camerupt
Aggron
Manectric
Crobat
Starmie
I tried to use Ash's pokemon but it didn't stand a chance hehehe

You need a team that is versatile people. Say for instance like any pokemon of your choosing. Like Blaziken, tropius, donphan, flygon, pikachu, and something else. My team is for emerald Blaziken:substitute, brick break(temporary moves except substitute) flamethrower, and earthquake Tropius: fly, giga drain, earthquake and body slam(temporary) Donphan: Rock slide, earthquake, iron tail and sandstorm(really hate it cause it can't learn other elemental moves really) Pikachu: iron tail, thunderbolt, volt tackle and quick attack( thought of ash's pikachu lol) Flygon: earthquake, flamethrower, dragon claw and crunch(crunch to cover psychic types for blaziken he needs it most). I'm thinking of my last pokemon but their levels are Blaziken lv 54 Flygon lv 55 Tropius lv 56 Donphan lv 55 and Pikachu lv 46. Hope it's good. If you would like to comment tell me how they are. I know they kinda *** but I have plenty of lv 100's. i just wanted to raise a team of random pokemon. I like these better than my lv 100's cause most of em I gave em rare candies. For these, i raise them with hard work. I did them from scratch. Peace.

LV60 sceptile
LV63 sharpedo
Worked gr8 for me. Not one problem through the elite 4.

If you guys are actually going to take the easy route and put legendaries on your team, just go ahead and put 6 mewtwos or something. Also, never ever use tropius: they have horrible stats. I only recommend them for hm slaves. In the team originally suggested, i would recommend switching tropius for breloom: you get extra type coverage as well as not having two pokemon that are 4x weak to ice. May i remind you all that there is an ice user in the elite four as well. Nobody really has the time to level all their pokemon to level 100 by the elite four, so really, i personally think that around level 50 or 60 (its been awhile since ive played, so i can't quite remember) should be fine. As another interesting team with a different, more challenging starter, here is what i would choose:
sceptile: treeko doesn't learn any strong moves until level 29, when it learns leaf blade. Pretty tough to make use of early on in the game, though its high speed should be noted. altaria: weak in attack power, but are versatile and have high defenses. Its dragon typing as well as access o dragon dance make it a superb addition to any team (though its hard to train as a swablu due to weakness)
camerupt: incredible offensive typing, decent attack stats, and good hp make it a great addition. gardevoir: access to many status inducing moves as well as having a good sp atk and sp def make it a pretty good pokemon to use. I recommend giving it psychic and thunderbolt at least. sharpedo: though its stats could be a bit higher, it has an interesting offensive typing that helps balance out the team as well as provide transportation over seas. Use the 3 water hms and crunch for best performance. manectric (alternates are raichu, electrode, or magneton): personally, i love manectric. Its fast and has good sp atk and speed. Teach it thunderbolt and you're good to go!
This team has a great type coverage and should serve any players well!

At black and white my uber team is all lvl 100 aggron, gardevoir, salamence( learn it draco meteor then laugh when your opponents pokemon goes down! ),gallade, metagross(tank! )milotic(great for ice attacks really rare to get and great for contest due to its maxed beauty)
and yes i am a preferer of emerald pokemon. Other really good pokemon are:
froslass: there are much trainers that prefer dragon types that are really hard to defeat like dragonite, hydreigon or even rayquaza, due to their weaknesses to ice types i prefer froslass
dusknoir: almost no weaknesses, ghost type so normal and fight types try hitting it! Xd, it can learn a very variered skillset like flametrower, ice beam, and thunderbolt + shadow punch/claw/ball
tyranitar: another tank like metagross it learns dark pulse which i think is a very cool attack and hyper beam+giga impact and focus punch this is for a massive blowout with its great attacking stats, but i would prefer using him in a double battle and use a combo that lets the opponents pokemon sleep or skip turns or that keeps them from attacking tyranitar so he can use focus punch
rhyperior: very good attack, but easy to get down, hammer arm and horn drill are great attacks for him
starters: at black and white you can learn your starters attacks that can combine and turn the field into disadvantages for the opponent and u can learn them blast burn, frenzy plant and hydro cannon making them get 150 dmg attacks and field advantages (for the field attack u need to do an double/triple/rotation battle with pokemon that know both an field attack, like empoleon + infernape)
and for the legendary users:
triple/double battle uber combo! Zekrom with fusion bolt/bolt strike+reshiram with fusion flare/flare strike(+victini if u got one(the event one) with bolt strike flare strike and that uber attack that does 180 dmg)
darkrai: void thingy attack xp put opponents to sleep + dream eater then just keep them asleep and hyper beam for finishing touch
out of symbols!

Also great moves are double team (use it like 5 times and u can't get hit)
this is also a crazy team:
umbreon: double team for hit immunity, dark pulse and shadow ball for good hits and due to its great defense stats guard swap it also has an great speed and no 2* and 4* weaknesses making it hard to be knocked out
espeon: psyschock and psybeam for it's offensive attacks and double team for hit immunity and yawn if u have pokemon xd u can also teach it nightmare, i would suggest the combo yawn, and until he is awake use double beam then attack
glaceon: double team for hit ummunity of course ice beam and powder snow/blizzard for finishing touch and ice fang because it has a chance to flinch and freeze a pokemon
flareon: flametrower, fire fang for burn and flinch, fire blast for finishing touch and double team
vaporeon: ice fang for same reason as above, hydro pump, muddy water and double team (lol really try it its funny to see your opponents try attacking you while they can't)
jolteon: thunder fang, thunderbolt, thunder and double team
Sorry for all the eveelutions but they kinda cover each others weaknesses, all know double team and fang moves (except umbreon and espeon) they have great speed and finishing moves, and they have an sp. Attack of just not 400! Their defense is real great and in double/triple battles you just keep on using the type advantages against your opponent and double team, also yawn is great for stacking the double teams

1. This is about emerald, not black/white
2. Dark void is banned. If you had any experience at all, you'd know that. On top of that, your uber team is more like a bad ou team. Uber teams usually consist of multiple legendaries, not uu's and 1 or 2 ou's.

I never said umbreon and espeon were bad. I personally love the two, but they aren't uber material. And pretty much anyone who competes knows that dark void is banned. It was one of the first things i learned >_>;;
also, your movesets are pretty amateur. If you would like to improve, visit serebii.net or google smogon :)
they're the best when it comes to movesets. Just as a starting tip, double team is pretty unreliable as it's totally a chance stat. It takes too long to set up and be effective than it's worth. Use ice beam over ice fang on vaporeon. Dark pulse and shadow ball on umbreon are redundant: if you must use one, use dark pulse for stab damage. Umbreon are better on physical sets though. You might want to try curse, payback, wish, and a 4th move. Curse ups atk and def (umbreon has high sp def and def already, so this is good)and lowers speed, ensuring that payback wil hit last for the double damage. If you have a problem with not getting double damage because they are using stat boosting moves instead of attacking, make the 4th move taunt. Hyper beam and other moves like it aren't usually good because of the lost turn, but i guess it's a personal preference thing. If you are going to use focus punch, you'll probably also want substitute to keep the opponent from landing hits and breaking the focus. Nightmare works too slow to be worth the move spot. Finally, if you like the eeveelutions so much, do more research, because definitely not all of them have good speed and special attack. Flareon, for example, has a horrid speed and half decent special attack. Its forte is attack, but the best move it can utilize for that is weak: fire fang. Paired with the bad speed, flareon just isn't worth using imo. I think you are overrating the fang moves... For jolteon, try calm mind, hidden power grass, shadow ball, and thunder/thunderbolt (depending on if you prefer accuracy or power). Espeon is best with psychic/psyshock, grass knot, calm mind, and shadow ball.

Espeon:
sunny day
solarbeam
psychic
morning sun
Umbreon:
shadow ball
body slam
curse
swords dance
I know umbreon's moves are strange, but its amazing if i has an adamant/lonely/brave/naughty nature, and yes it can learn all these moves through the ladies at the battle fronteir. As for espeon, its sp. Atk is through the roof, get one with a modest nature and these moves, and your set :)
