You can clone pokemon in pokemon emerald version by going to the battle frontier and deposit the wanted to clone pokemon in an empty PC box (you can deposit the number you want on one box but it has to be clean. after that you save your game in front of the PC and then talk to the battle frontier building attendant next to you and talk to her. put that you want to enter to the tournament and after you choose 3 pokemon there will be a pause, when she starts to talk again turn the device off and on again. you will find that you are in front of the PC and that in your party there are the pokemon you chosen to clone. there will be the same pokemon in the box and voila, your pokemon are cloned
