Navel Rock (a.k.a. "Island 8") and Birth Island (a.k.a. "Island 9") are two small
unchartered islands which only appear on the town map after you've visited them.

However, you probably already know that the Seagallop that leaves out of Vermillion City
won't take you there...unless, that is, you have the proper ID *wink wink*


Now then, how exactly do you get to these islands? Well, before I answer that question,
make sure that you've accomplished the following on your Fire Red / Leaf Green game:

-beat the Elite Four (for the first time)
-find the little girl in the Berry Woods and give the meteorite to her father (on
Kin Island (a.k.a. "Island 3")

Once you're sure you've done both the things above, here is what you need to get to the
two secret islands (both are key items):

Auroraticket: A ticket required to board the ship to BIRTH ISLAND. It glows beautifully.
Mysticticket: A required to board the ship to NAVEL ROCK. It glows with a mystic light.

But, how do we get these items? Well, sadly and simply....you can't. Unless you were at
one of the three Pokémon Rocks America events last year, there is no way to get the
tickets. Nintendo says on their official web site that you'll be able to download the
tickets from certain retail locations, but no such locations have yet been established.


Tickets are downloaded from a special Nintendo device called a Wonder Spot, which
communicates with FR/LG wirelessly using the Mystery Event feature. (To unlock the Mystery
Event, go to any Pokémart and inspect the clipboard on the counter. Fill out the servey
with "Link together with all")

The Mystery Event ONLY exists to communicate with a Wonder Spot, and you can't use it with
another GBA, like you could in G/S/C. It's not certain at this time whether the tickets
can be traded from one GBA to another using the "friend" option in the mystery event.

Once you have the tickets, go talk to the sailor at the end of the docks at Vermillion
City, and he'll register the tickets, allowing you to go to Navel Rock and Birth Island as

to the sailor in front of the Seagallop Ferries' dock, and selecting it as the
destination.

There is nothing on the island except a triangle, that you have to move around until it
turns red. When it turns red the island shakes and a Lv.30 Deoxys appears, it's appearance
and stats depend on if you're using LG/FR.

The only current way - without using a Nintendo Event, which are no longer happening - is
if you have a Gameshark or Action Replay and are willing to cheat a little then use the
codes below:

But please note that once you put in the code, walk through a door, and you will reach the
Islands 8/9, but then take out your cheating device to prevent further warps. Please
ENSURE that.

This is the same person who posted above, I meant to describe Birth Island more. Birth
Island, a.k.a. Island 9, is located to the south of island 6. Once you have the
Auroraticket, go to the dock in Vermillion City, and take the Seagallop-High Speed 12 to
get to the island. Note that you can fly to islands 4 and 5 from this island, but you
can't fly TO this island. Also, you can only get here from Vermillion (in other words,
there is no boat from island 4 to Navel Rock, etc.)

Once you arrive, you'll be able to hear a pin drop. That's right, there's no music on this
island. Walk up and you'll see a black triangle. Walk up to it and inspect it, and it will
move away from you, around the dirt triangle it's located in. This is a puzzle, and as
progress through the puzzle, the triangle becomes more and more reddish, until is shines
bright red and stops in the center of the island.)

Solution -
1. Walk up to it and press A.
2. Hit left five times and down once. Press A.
3. Press right five times, and up five times. Press A.
4. Right 5 times, Down 5 times. Press A.
5. Up 3 times, Left 7 times. Press A.
6. Right 5 times. Press A.
7. Left 3 times, Down 2 times
8. Down 1 times, Left 4 times
9. Right 7 times, Press A.
10. Left 4 times, Down 1 time, Press A.

Then from there, Dexoys will attack!

you need to get the mystery gift and how you do that is by going to any poke mart and
there should be a paper on the counter and fill oiut the questionarr by typing in LINK
TOGETHER WITH ALL and then he will give you the mystery gift...save and then turn it off
and then there should be the mystery gift once you turn it back on bout to acess the
mystery gift you need to have one wirelss adapters conected to it and once you do that
you get the two tickets from a speacial event in the mystery gift p.s. the islands are

process to you step by step. And here it is:

STEP ONE: Go catch a Chancey. If you don't have one, then you better go to the Safari
Zone and pray to Arceus that you'll find one dumb enough to get trapped in those crappy
little safari balls (seriously, it's tragic how badly those safari balls ****, but I
digress). If you're that persistent to get a Chancey, then it should pay off after, I
dunno, four hours.

STEP TWO: FRIENDSHIP
So you finally caught your Chancey, and now you're ready to evolve it into the
ever-fancible Blissey--a large lump of happiness that hurls eggs at foes for ****s and
giggles. Are you ready? The next step is to gradually earn its love, trust, and
devotion. This can be accomplished through two very reliable methods...

1) Leveling up: Keep Chancey at the front of your party CONSTANTLY! Make sure that its
health almost never drains into the yellow or red area--it doesn't like that very much.
Use lots of restorative items on it, or, if you're worried that it won't survive the
battle, use the reliable method of training weak pokemon: lead with the trainee, then
switch out and use a stronger pokemon to earn the Ex. Points and the win. Through this
slow and tedius process, you're bound to get Chancey to evolve at some point.

But, fortunately, there is a quicker way.

2) BRIBERY
It works every time. Load down your supply bag with all sorts of items used to boost your
pokemon's stats, such as Protein and Calcium. Try getting medicines that cover your
Chancey's weak points, such as attack and speed, so that way it's like killing two birds
with one stone; you make Chancey happy and it gets slightly less vulnerable.

However, as any right-minded trainer knows, these medicines do not, I repeat, do not come
cheap. So you know what that means! Time to battle! Through this method, you train
Chancey, then go buy medicine and bribe Chancey, then train some more--constantly
repeating the process until Chancey likes you enough to evolve.

TIP: One good measure of a pokemon's friendship is through the usage of the TM Return.
Teach Chancey return, and notice how much stronger the attack grows as it levels up. This
is no coincidence--the more Chancey likes you, the stronger this attack will become. You
know Chancey will evolve soon when this attack can deal out its maximum amount of damage.
