Pokemon Gold Hints

Once you have found a legendary dog it has gotten away from you this is how you can find it again.

1] use your poke'dex and search for where it is.
2] then DO NOT FLY to where it is. walk.
3] the dogs move 1 route at a time. so if u fly more than 1 route away they will jump more than 1 route at a time. so you will never catch it.
4] start walking to where it is.
5] then the dog should walk closer to u so you should en up like this..

......V (you)..........V (a gap / route inbetween)....................V where the dog is.
6] <(*.*)> Route > ......................................=[ (the dog)

7] if you walk into the next route it should come in there aswell.
8] once the dog is in your route check by using a pokedex each route u move.
9] use a max repel
10] then use your radio and use the channel that attraks wild poke'mon and then walk around.
[Note] if you leave the route the dog will go in the opposite dirrection. so dont leave.
[note2] use a poke'mon with mean look or scary face or something that stops your tartget from fleeing poke'mon that have this are.. wobafet and ghastly. so have one of them at the front of your party.
[note3] when you damage a legendary it will stay at that health and wont heal itself so i recomend using paralysing moves so that it is always on.

and yea hopefuly you catch ur pokemon.

The dogs lie in a cave(idr where) after you walk in the cave they take off and now can be found across the Johto region the best spot would be somewhere where 2 routes meet since they constantly switch routes as do u Most of the time the dogs will all be in differnt areas

Sometimes its just a matter of luck be carefull though if you Knock them out they disappear forever

Go to violet city after you can use surf and left of the gym is some water that leads to the pp up right of the gym you`ll see some water surf on that you will find the rare candy
water will have lv.20-24 Poliwhirl
and lv 15-24 poliwag

I know it sounds stupid but if you have caught a Hoothoot and raised it to Lv. 10 AND called it BIG PEA a glitch makes Bugsy start using slightly easier attacks on you.

To get Entei Suicoone and Raikou you go to the Burned/Burning/Burnt Tower and go up to where the things that look like Rattatas in your party (I know Silver and Gold don't have the best quality in the world but I like to exaggerate) are and as soon as you go to the one nearest the bottom of the screen (Raikou)
they all run off. Go back out of Burnt Tower using the ESCAPE ROPE and go to the biggest patch of grass near by. Use TM Sweet Scent and Raikou appears, then Suicoone, then Entei at Lv. 70 or 50 or 5 depending on how strong you are.

Take 2 of the same pokemon male and female. Bring them to the daycare in goldenrod city leave one with the daycare man and one with the daycare lady. walk around for about 5 minutes then go back to find an egg.

If you get even a drop of water in your game cartridge, the game realy messes up. i restarted mine and picked cyndaquil and when i got into a battlei used tackle and the pokemon went to sleepand then died. my cyndaquil went down 4 levels and then to level
99 1/2 then my game crashed. when i rebooted i had a lugia, celibi, cyndaquil and missigno (a glitch pokemon) now the game is fine other than my new pokemon and ability to use surf on land and my appearance changes ( i sometimes look like ho-ho or lugia. its freaki'n awesome.

Use repel, 5 times and travel everywhere and follow where and Raikou, then if it's close to the lighthouse go up in to the grass, the Repel must where of as soon as you get there, and walk up and down near the ladie with the blue hair. And when you see him get a Pokemon that knows hypnosis, thunderwave, ect. and use either a greatball or ultraball.
