Okay, i just got past the goldenrod gym and i can't figure out what i'm supposed to be doing after that. Please help!

I went up the tin tower then i found ho-oh on the top. I accidently defeated it. The ho oh disappeared because i defeated it. How do i get it back on the tower or
how do i catch it when its dissapered?
