 Keep battlin' Groudon the sae same time you always did cause' I did it that wa but you
have to be in the Platium Rank to getlegendary pokemon but you dont need theyre freind
area cause youll gain acsess to it if they ask to join your team.

Actually, you don't have to be at Platinum Rank to get legendary Poke`Mon.. you don't have to be at any certain rank. I was at bronze rank when I got the three Legendary Birds, and was at Silver when I got Groudon. Although it is likely that you will be at that high of a rank before you are able to get the Friend Bow (the item required to get Groudon, Rayquaza, and a few other certain legendaries), rank is not required in any way.

Also, you may need to buy the Friend Area (or earn it in a Rescue Mission) for certain legendaries, such as Latios and Latias, Mewtwo, Mew, and a couple others. Although you will get most of the legendaries' Friend Areas when you recruit them, some must be obtained first.
