how to get cut and flash


to get cut: go on the SS Anne and explore until you round a corner and your rival wants to
battle you. beat him and then go down the steps behind him. talk to the old man by the
garbage can and rub his back. he will then give you cut.

to get flash: (you must be able to use cut to do this) After you get cut on the SS Anne,
get off it and wait until it leaves. then get off the dock and go right until you get to
the tunnel. go through it, and keep going down using cut until you reach a giant building.
Go up the stairs, talk to the aid, get flash, and then you can enter rock tunnel.

i got through rock tunnel without flash when it first came out lol thats how bad i wanted
to beat it
