first of all don't listen to those goofs they don't know what they talking about. second i tell you the real way. go to the celadon dept. store buy 3 fresh waters, 3 soda pops, and 3 lemonades after that go to the mansion beside the guy who scalded his tongue and go inside there will be a lady with 3-4 pokemon talk to her she will say something like this "stop spending your money on all those drinks" then she will give you a hot tea drink. take that to through the pathway to saffron walk by the guard he will say something and you will walk up and give him the tea automatically he shares the drink with all the other guards from there on you will be able to get through to saffron. have fun i will try to anwser all the questions i possibly know.
