All you have to do on this game is aim for all enemies even if it chips your health rapidly and dodge the enemies bullets. Always attack circle waves of enemies as they give you either a bullet powerup or a rocket powerup. For main bosses, let the rockets home in on weak points of the bosses while you just dodge the bullets. For chase missions continuously press L as this dodges most mountains.
