To pass the Direct Damage exam, my suggestion is to use the premade Fire deck. Build it up with Pyro packs that you get on saturdays in the shop! Also, keep some Baseball Player monsters and Infernos in your deck too! That should ensure a perfect grade!

If you already have enough rank and your dorm is Ra Yellow, keep on dueling Chazz Princeston, and must win, and when class weeks, Dr. Crowler will announce to the class that you can be in the Obelisk Blue dorm, but you must duel Chazz to become an Obelisk Blue scholar, if you win the match, Dr. Crowler will Promote you as an Obelisk Blue student and he will give you the blue coat, and some praises, after that, you will see Chazz in the Harbor, and promised he'll come back and defeat you. This can be an EASY way on promoting yourself as an Obelisk Blue student, rather than having you struggling in passing the exams and tests, winning some duels, answering some timed duels and in gaining high ranks, and the least rank accepted in Obelisk Blue dorm is Superior Duelist.

The most common "Change of Heart" sub in this game is "Snatch Steal" however if your opponent takes a monster thats equipped with "Big Bang Shot" they will take the represented damage they would normally take when they attack your monster thats in defence mode. And only in this way will it work. (Other control change cards yet to be confirmed)
