INTRODUCTION

About this guide-
This is a passwords list guide for the game Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters 8, released on the
GameBoy
Advance. This guide also contains other various information about the game. Some
miscellaneous information on other Yu-Gi-Oh games are also listed here.
This guide is best viewed in Wordpad in 600 x 800 screen resolution.
It is highly recommended that you use Blackdiamond's guide along with this password list.
Details on this guide-
The information here is not entirely original. Most of the passwords here have been given
to
me by other sites. I have cross-referenced these information, as well as corrected some
on
my own, before coming up with this.
Names here are directly translated from Japanese, so they do not follow the English
Version of the Card game. Take note of the Name differences.
Note that I do not have time to check every password, so there may be mistakes in the
passwords.
About the game-
Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters 8 is only in Japanese language currently. This game uses a
different
Card Game system from that of the original card games. The rules are different from that
of
Eternal Duelist Soul and Stairway to the Destined Duel. The Cards are also different in
terms of effects and statistics.
Review-
As far as I can tell you, this game is a complete failure. It offers more challenge
compared
to the previous Duel Monsters series, but that hardly explains the reason behind the
greatly
boosted difficulty. Getting Cards are easy in this game, provided you have the password.
Unlike Eternal Duelist Soul and World Wide Edition, passwords can be used more than once,
despite the fact that you still have to pay for them. However, being able to use the
cards,
is quite another story. Just because you have a good card, doesn't mean you can use it.
Due to
the Deck Capacity and Duelist level system, you can't simply use a card because you have
it.
In fact, you would probably have to fight a few hundred duels before you even have enough
space to insert one good card. Furthurmore, that's not the only restrictions. Your
opponents
do not play by the rules. They can use more than 1 restricted cards in their decks, and
they
usually have more LP. Due to the nature of how this game forces you to fight tonnes of
battles
before you even stand a chance of winning, I seriously do not recommend this game. Even
though
I have written a guide for this game, it doesn't mean I like it, or I am good at it.
Additional tips-
If you want the benefits of fast Capacity building, you are also forced to link up with a
friend who has the game. Which makes it worse that Pokemon, if not as bad.
It is also possible to get Capacity Points faster through a Game Link. From what I know,
in
such Duels, the winner gets 15 points, and loser gets 5 points, and that is much faster
than
fighting normal Duelists in the game. The intention of the game producers was most likely
that
you have to link up in order to get the best. Sort of like Pokemon, where you have to link
to
get all Pokemon.
If you ask me, these games are made with profit emphasis, and such games are not worth
playing compared to other ones.
This is a game that I recommend that you NEVER get!

Let me explain how the Passwords work. In the card shop, there is an orange machine. That
is
where you enter the Passwords. It costs 1000 Dominos to use it each time. When you enter
a
correct Card Password, one card will be unlocked. However, the card will not go directly
into your trunk. It will appear in the Card Shop, and you will have to buy it from there.
While this system is more troublesome compared to the Eternal Duelist Soul and World Wide
Edition, you have no limits to using the password. You can have as much cards as you
want.
