I generally win the best staff for killing a major character like lord valemar, kurak,
uthu, or someone similar to this. If you are looking for the best place to buy the best
conventional staff, i've always found cold sands keep has the best weapons, armor, and
potions. Of course, if you want to use karma, i've always found the best weapons there. It
just depends if you want to spend money on the game.

You can find this staff if you are lucky by killing the ancient vampire in a old tunnels.
Save the game before killin the vampire because if you didn't get the fire staff (power:
52 speed: 1.3 range 2.0 ) and you can load ur saved slot and kill the vampire again until
you get the staff. :)) good luck

I actually went to just randomly kill the vampire at 35 and bam i got the staff...
