Well you start off with a pet egg in the begining but you can get eggs by completing quest
killing monsters you all so buy eggs

To evolve a pet, you have to have two pets with the same ability (like one with crush and
another also having crush) then you choose one, then select the other pet with the same
ability, and the evolution should be successful. You can only go up to epic rank, i think.
