It says you have to have limited breedable fish so i think you got to have some special

How do you get fishbucks without spending real money?

During the current rainbow even i am attempting to breed the red convict rainbow, which
you are suppose to be able to get by breeding the terquoise rainbow and the praecox
rainbow. I have done this several times and not getting the result indicated. What is the
trick?

Yo need limited breedables. In the fish egg shop some of the fish have a little question
mark above them. If you tap that it tells you which fish you can breed with which fish. As
some fish will only breed with one other breed of fish. Hope this helps.

Mystery breedables can only be purchased for a limited time, the can only be bred with
other lm (limited breedable) most of them cost fish bucks, butnsome you can purchase with
coins
