What do you mean continue to work how long do you have to wait?

Yeah, I'm finding this difficult too. Everyday I go to work with all my needs (food,
bladder, hygiene, social etc) up as high as they can go. I have seven friends and a level
five in the guitar. Is it just pure luck or is there something I'm not doing????

First of all, you have to have already built a nightclub. Once you get your promotion and
you start working @ the nightclub,, you just have to be lucky. When you're done working,
and the pop up comes up saying how much you were paid, it will also say if you got a
record deal or not. You could get it on your first night, or even after like, 5 tries. I
got mine on my 2nd try.

You press an empty plot (next to your house) and press build nightclub. Easy

i got a record deal on my first try :D lucky me and im usually unlucky :P

I built a night club but I didn't have a record deal yet I've been working there for 2
days

I've been working for 6 days, still no record deal. Is that normal?

You just have to keep trying and make sure that all your Sim's needs are high as they can
go and make sure they have seven friends. Hope this helped!

I also tried for two weeks, did everything right.... Nothing. Started a budding romance
with the boss, next shift I got the record deal. Maybe that did it, worth a shot.

I have tried everything!!!! I have been trying for 3 weeks and nothing! On the 2nd week I
got in a relationship with the boss and nothing!!!! My sims need are always at the fullest
and I arrive early to work! Someone please help me!!!!

Yeah its me to! I thinks it's because i put the christmas tree up early...

I can't get a record deals have been going to work every day on time with my mood as high
as i can get it but i can't seem to get one :l

You have to get a budding romance with the boss and then you have to go to work five days
in a row and you cant be late or you will have to be rude to the boss and then get budding
romance again even if your boss is the same gender as your sim and never be late
pleeeaaassseee!!! :p

You're all wrong. Try quitting your job, getting another one and then getting a few
promotions and then going back to your job as a musician. When i did that i came back to
discover i had two record deals i never actually remembered getting. Go figure.

Ive been trying for 5 sim days to get a record deal!

If you don't give it any time then it won't work i trident for about 6 sim weeks and
didn't get it till the seventh week.

How are there 12 people to be friends with? There's only 11 in town!

I havnt got my record deal yet :( iv tryed for 7 weeks on sims

One fatal flaw at the time i go to work at 17:00 she doesn't get home 'til an hour after i
go to work so uh yeah good luck with that

You have to get to the one where you get 450 simleons then change your apperence to the
rocker then go to work with full mood

I've been needing one 12 friends and all my food and etc. And i've been working for 2
