A Witch`s Tale
Walkthrough- Worlds 1-5 (Rest to Come in couple of days)
After noticing that there isn't a walkthrough out there for A Witch's Tale I decided to
put one together. I am still typing out worlds 4, 5 and 6 (which I just finished myself),
but I thought I would upload what I had and then upload the rest in a day or so when I am
finished. The first couple worlds I did are not very descriptive and I am not going to get
in to the story much, however it tells you where all of the main ingredients, items and
dolls are located. The last few worlds I got more descriptive because I had to be in order
for me and you to understand what I am talking about as there are lots of paths.
In each world you have to find three main ingredients and take them to Babayaga's shrine..
she will then exchange those ingredients for a key to open the castle of that world. You
then have to find your way through the castle to the room with the princess in it.. Battle
her servant and save her. She will then open up the next world for you.
WORLD ONE- REM SACCHRAS- "The Candy Kingdom"
I am not very descriptive at all for this world.. I just have the main points, as I wasn't
planning on making a walkthrough while playing through this level. If you need exact
locations, there is a user on youtube who uploaded a video of what you need to do to get
throughout this world. Here is the link:  
- Babayaga's shrine is in Cocoa Park (which is in the West, near Macroon Island I
believe). In this world we need Meringue,  burnt butter & a honey needle.
- First go to the Candy Maze- the enterance is in the Eastern part Rem Sacchras South. As
you go through the maze there will be doors blocking your progession. Look around in the
part of the maze you can access for a chest with a Chocolate Key in it. Use this key to
unlock the door and continue through the maze.
- After unlocking the first door, you will be able to find a Tauth doll. Unlock the first
door with the chocolate key and go through it. Then go east in to the next section. You
can now go up (I think) or continue East into the next section.. continue east and you
should see 6 icing dots you can break open and a doll named Balloy behind them.
Now go back the way you came and go north (at your first chance) and continue through the
maze.
- Find the room with Dodo in it, and the giant Gingerbread man. Go to the front of the
Gingerbread man for a scene, which talks about the gingerbread man possibly missing
something. The room is located from where we were going north after getting Balloy,
continue north, come to section with a bunch of icing dots to break open to continue north
on your journey (can go east then north too for a dead end with some treasures). Break
them and continue north on that same path you just broke the icing dots in. Then go east
until you come to a room with two gingerbread men throwing frisbee-like things. Go down a
bit and continue east. You'll get to a spot where you can continue south through the maze,
or you can go north east where you see the light. Go to the light and you'll be in the
"Gingerbread Man" where the gingerbread man is.
Now that we've done that you can continue to explore the candy maze.. at the end of the
maze is the water bomb, which you need to clear the path to Macroon Island.. when you get
to the end and get the bomb, you'll have to make your way back through the way you came in
to get out.
- Now we have to go to the Grapejuice River. Go to the West side of Rem Sacchras South and
find the enterance to Macroon Island. The water bomb will be used to open the enterance.
Enter it and you'll see a thing that looks like a wafer cookie, or a bridge, going north.
Follow it, and continue along path going only way you can go until you come to a spot
where you can either go North or go South East (you'll need to take the north passage
later to find a missing gingerbread man). Right now, go South east to continue. Now can go
south or continue east. South brings you to the beginning of Macroon island(by enterance)
in a area (on other side of gummy candy that was in that section of macroon island) that
can only be accessed from this path. Get the goodies if you want, and then follow the path
to the east. When you get to the spot where you can continue east into a room, or continue
north, go east in to the room/new area called Fluffy Path. Go north and talk to the
gingerbread man named "Chocoman" who tells you that something is in the Grapejuice River
and that the river needs to be plugged in the correct spot with cake. There are 5 spots
the pieces can go but only two will allow you to enter the grapejuice river via the ladder
in the South West. I recommend checking out the video I posted the link for above for this
part (I think it is part 3 or 4 of the walkthrough videos) as it is kind of hard to
explain where the two pieces go.
I will try though. Enter Grapejuice River from enterance behind Chocoman. Go south and
will see a piece of cake. Push it south in to next section. Now push it east across the
bridge. Now push it north in to the next section. Take the first bridge going east, still
pushing the same piece of cake. Once across push the piece of cake south in to next
section, and continue south (a little over to the west of this piece of fluffy path where
it almost looks like someone took a little bite out of the edge.. that's where you push
the cake off) and push piece of cake right of edge of fluffy path. Now go to the second
piece of cake. I can't remember where the second piece of cake started from, so I can't
give step by step instructions like I did for the first piece, but I can tell you where to
put it in the river.
I know you have to go all the way east.. as far east as you can get.. You should be as
north and as east as you can be right now. Go south on that piece of fluffy path in to
next section (and you'll be as South and as east as you can be in this area). You should
see a bridge. Cross this bridge going west with the piece of cake on to next piece of
fluffy path. Then go north into next section and push the piece of cake right of the
edge.
This will allow you to access the ladder.. so go to, and down, the ladder, which is in the
middle and south most part of the map of the grapejuice river. In here you'll find a chest
and the candy cane that belongs to the giant gingerbread man.
- Now that you have the candy cane, take it back to the gingerbread man in the Candy Maze.
After you give him back his candy cane he will give you burnt butter, one of the key
ingredients.
- I didn't write down the location of the pink bomb, which you use in North of South Rem
Sacchras (behind the two gingerbread cookies and a line of eggs), but I don't remember it
being too difficult to find.. I am pretty sure it is in Cacao Field behind or somewhere
near the white gingerbread man who is looking for his brother (which I will get to
now...)
Follow path in Macroon Island to north east and find stairs. Take them to get to Cacao
Field. Right in front of you is a chest surrounded by eggs. Inside the chest is a battle
with Death (if you beat him you get a witch's broom, or a miracle pill). Continue going
east until you get to the spot with a bunch of gummy people standing around. Continue east
passed all of the gummy people and you'll see a path going north.. that is where Babayaga
is located. Right now, continue east (unless you want to stop in to see Babayaga to get a
gift and break the icing dots on the way up the path first.. Okay, so like I said,
continue east.. follow path until you come to a white gingerbread man, or gummy candy
(whatever he is, he is white lol), surrounded by icing dots, which you can break open.
There is a chest in the north east corner of this section of Cocoa Park.. This may be the
pink bomb location if I remember correctly. Talk to the white gingerbread man, who will
ask you to find his brother in Macroon Island and lead him back home. So go back to the
stairs we came through by Death and go back to Macroon Island. Go south and then back over
to the west side of Macroon Island. When enter west side, you'll be able to continue west
or north west. Take the north path around to the dead end where you will find a brown
gingerbread man, the lost brother. Tap him to talk to him, and he will now follow you.
Lead him back to his brother and they will give you access to their treasure in Cocoa
Pond, which is the honey needle. Cocoa Pond is located in the middle of Rem Sacchras north
(from Cocoa field/where death battle is.. break eggs and go north to next section,
Continue to walk straight up and you'll see a big Cocoa pond with stairs in the middle..
take the stairs and go open up the chest in the middle of the area you just entered called
"secret base").
Now we have to go to chess cookie cave, which is in the section just west of the one you
are currently in in rem sacchras north. You need to battle Toothache, who is located in
here, to win the last ingredient, Meringue. The video on youtube (link provided above) is
much better at showing where to go at this part.. it is part 5 of the walkthrough that
this part is in the video. I wrote down where to go but I am not sure how great my
instructions are as I just put small notes and the direction (in later worlds I actually
describe what you see and where everything you see goes and it is much easier to figure
out where to go).. Anyways, to find Tooth ache, enter the cave. Go east, follow path
north.. at next chance, turn right/east. Go east until you see a path leading north/up
again.. follow that path up and go all the way north until you can go west, and do so..
then go south.. continue south passed the path on the west. Then, when you're as far south
as you can be, follow the road west and continue following path (no where else to go I
think) and you will come to stairs. Take these stairs and go all the way north until you
come to a big tooth. Click on it to battle. Once you win the battle you will win the last
ingredient, Meringue.
There is also a doll named Ziggy in the "Chess Cookie". I can't remember the exact
location of it. I think you have to talk stairs that you can find in North West Chess
Cookie B1F, and then you will come to a part with two stairs. One of these sets of stairs
leads you to Ziggy.
There is also a tomato located in the West side of Chess Cookie B1F. You can only hold one
tomato at a time, but it is good to remember the locations of them in case one is used
during a battle (if you die, they restore all of your HP and MP and bring you back from
the dead so to speak), you can go back and get another one to keep on hand.
Now that we have all of the ingredients we can take them to Babayaga and exchange the
items for a key to the castle. Now that you have the key, go to the very North in Rem
Sacchras North to unlock the castle door. Here you will battle the Princesses enslaved
servant.. When you win, the Princess Gretel will give you her Sigil, which opens the next
world (Rem Boreas), and will also give you access to her doll, which is located in an ice
shard.
When you get back to the Gate Room, save your progress and go back to Rem Sacchras to get
the Princess Gretel doll. It is located in Pound Cake Cave, which is located in West Rem
Sacchras North. I can give you directions from Cocoa Field (where chest with Death battle
is and where stairs to Macroon Island are).. From save point in this area walk east and
break eggs and then walk up north to the next section. Then you should be able to turn
west as soon as you enter in to the next section- do so. Follow path west (passed part
where you are able to turn north, break icing dots and continue west) passed all of the
icing dots and you will come to some stairs. Take these stairs to enter Pound Cake Cave.
Go up to the big rock/shards and tap.. You will then get Princess Gretel's doll.
Now you can go back to the Gate Room.. Go to Shadow Town or just save and go to World
2...
WORLD 2- REM BOREAS- "The Frozen Kingdom"
- Babayaga's shrine is located in the North of Rem Boreas South, (if you stay over to the
east from and continue north (from the beginning & very south of Rem Boreas South) you
will get to a cave in the North West corner). This time we are looking for a flower petal,
iceberg tip, and snow grass. But there are some other items we are going to need in order
to get all 3 of the ingredients for Babayaga.
First, you need to go to Family Rock 1F, which is located in the south west corner of Rem
Boreas South, to find the Ice Star. I do not remember the exact location of the Ice Star,
but that is what you are looking for. There are entrances in Family Rock 1F that lead to
Family Rock 2F, Mother Rock, Older Sister Rock and Younger Sister Rock as well. I am
pretty sure that the Ice Star is in Mother Rock, but I can`t remember exactly where in
Family Rock you go to to get to Mother Stone... if you explore 1F and the adjoining
locations to there entirity you will find it. I think you get to it through stairs that
are in Family Rock 2F though. Upon exploring Family Rock 1F and 2F you will find sealed
treasure chests.. we will come back to those later- we need mother tears and child tears
to open them, which we will get soon!
Mother Rock has some pink ice shard things at the east side of it`s location. It takes you
to the Younger Sister Rock, where there are two more pink shards, which will take you to
the north of Rem Boreas South near Babayaga`s shrine (you can`t go back this way so make
sure you explore the first area of mother stone completely before going to close to the
pink shards, otherwise you`ll have to go all the way back around to get there again).
Now that you have the Ice star, we need to go talk to a fallen traveler who is blocking an
entrance to a cave (the Ice Cavern) and needs water. He is located in Rem Boreas North in
the north west.. Just North of Babayaga`s cave. Go talk to him. Now we need to go get him
some water.. and use the Ice Star. Leave that section of map by going east. In the next
section of map going south, back in to Rem Boreas South. Go as far South and East as you
can go in Rem Boreas South and you will come to a snowman, or ``Ice Adventurer`` with a
red hat.. if you talk to him he tells you to go to Mother Stone to get the Ice star. Since
we already have it we can continue. As you can see, to the east of the ice adventurer is a
big gap. If you follow the gap south just a little bit you should see part in the gap that
sparkles.. go up to this part and tap it and your Ice Star will be used.
There are 3 locations where this one Ice Star is used. Cross the bridge you just created
and go east in to the next section, which is called Eternal Spring. There is an ice pond
in the north part of this section. Go up to it and your Ice Star will be used here as
well. It creates a path in to the Spirit Hole. We don`t need to go in the Spirit Hole
right now.. it has big purple shards (a crystal) containing Princess Hansel`s doll, which
we will gain access to after saving the Princess. Surrounding the Frozen pond that you
just built the (second) bridge over, are a bunch of different coloured ball things
(souls).. select the pink one (named The Spring Soul). She tells you that she will give
you water in exchange for a Holly Leaf.
Now we need to go to Holly Grove to fight Muffy and get the Holly Leaf for the Spring
Spirit. We will use the Ice Star in it`s last location on the way. So let`s go back across
the first bridge we made (going west). Once across the bridge continue north. Go all the
way to North East Rem Boreas North, and you will come to Lake Boreas. In the south western
part of this area are a bunch of ice cube things that you can break open. Right after the
ice cube things is another gap. Go up to the edge of it near the middle, and you Ice Star
will be used again, for the final time. We don`t need to go across the bridge right now,
as it leads to a cave we need a bomb for, and to the enterance to the castle. So let`s
leave this area going west back into Rem Boreas North.. You should see another ice
adventurer in this area. Continue passed him (or chat with him and then continue if you
want) and go south (need to go south before we can continue north again) in to the next
section.. Then from this section, go west. Then you`ll get to another section.. Follow the
path north as soon at your first opportunity to go north. You are now going to enter an
area with a bunch of spiked ice balls moving all over the place.. Continue north through
them, trying not to get hit, and you will come to some eggs. Break them and continue north
to enter Holly Grove. Walk up to the big creature who you have to battle and beat. You
will receive the Holly Leaf when you beat him. Take the Holly Leaf to the Spring Soul
(south east Rem Boreas South), who will give you the water you need for the fallen
traveller.
Now that you have the water, go give it to the traveller in front of the Ice Cavern (just
north of Babayaga`s Shrine, or slightly south and slightly west from Holly Grove. Once you
give him the water, he will give you one of the key ingredients, the Iceberg Tip, and will
move out of your way and you will be able to enter the Ice Cavern at Ice Cavern 1F. First
we are going to get the Child`s Tears. So enter the cave and follow the path north & west
(only way can go right now) in to the next section of map. You will come to a spot where
you can go north, south (leads to nothing at all), or west. First, go north. Break all of
the ice crystals you come to and open up the treasure chest.. Inside this treasure chest
is the Child`s Tears. Now go back down to where we were (before you went north to open the
chest), and take the path going west. Follow the path going west and then north.. You will
come to a point where you can go east or west. East is a dead end, so go west. Follow the
path (only way it can go- you`ll go north then turn east) until you get to a point where
you can go north, or continue east. First, we are going to go east, which will lead you to
a dead end with a Tauth doll named Plastic. Pick up the doll and go back to where you just
were (before we continued east to get Plastic), and now go North. Follow the path (only
way you can go.. should lead you up, then west, then back down going south) until you get
to a spot where you can go South or West. Go West and follow the path until you come to
some stairs. Take the stairs. Now follow the path south until you get to a spot where you
can either continue south, or you can over east a bit and then continue south. We want to
go east a bit and then go south. Follow this path until you come to a part where you can
continue on one of two paths..  One is on top (north to the other), and one is on the
bottom (south to the other). We will need to take both paths as both end up leading to
important items.
First we will take the bottom path.. Follow the path until you come to a snowman with a
blue hat, some ice shards, and stairs. Break the ice shards and take the stairs. These
stairs take you to another set of stairs. Take them.. Come to some eggs for you to break
open and a treasure chest with the 4 of hearts in it. Continue to break the eggs and open
the next treasure chest. Inside this treasure chest is the Mothers Tears.
Now that we have the mothers tears we want to go back to take the top path that we didn`t
take before we took the path leading to the mothers tears.. so back in the way you came
until you get back to that spot. Now take the top path. Follow this path north and you
will come to a spot where you can continue north, or turn west. West leads to a dead end
with a bunch of ice shards to smash for goodies.. if you want them, go get them and then
come back and continue north, where you will come to some stairs. These stairs will take
you to Platinum Hill.. If you follow the path you will come to 2 Muffy`s that you have to
battle. Beat them to receive Snow Grass, another of the key ingredients. Now that we`ve
got all of the important stuff from the Ice Cavern we can leave it.. so follow your way
back out the way you came in (exit is in most south eastern point of Ice Cavern 1F).
Now we have to go use our Mothers Tears and Childs Tears to unlock the chests in Family
Rock. The Childs tears are used in the northern most section of Family Rock 1F at a chest
sealed in a pink crystal (or something). In this chest is the Ice Crusher, which we will
need when we cross the third bridge we made (with the ice star) in North Eastern Rem
Boreas North. Then follow the path back down and west- go west.. Continue to follow the
path (pretty sure it will lead you south and then east) passed where you are given an
opportunity to go south (which leads to stairs to Older Sister Rock), until you come to
stairs. These stairs will take you to Ice Cavern 2F. Now go as far West as you can on
Family Rock 2F and you will come to some eggs.. behind the eggs is the chest which is
sealed in green crystal. Break the eggs and tap the chest and the Mothers Tears will be
used to open the chest. You will receive the Flower Petal from this chest.
- Now we have all of our ingredients and need to take them to Babayaga`s Shrine to
exchange them for the Ice Key.
- Once you have the Ice Key, you want to go to where we made the third bridge with our Ice
Star.. In North East of Rem Boreas East (in Lake Boreas). Cross that (third) bridge in
Lake Boreas and go south. You will come to Dodo, who you can chat with. Continue South
into the next section, which now becomes Blizzard Lake. In the east of this section of map
is a cave with a crystal in front of it. Go up to it and you will use the Ice Crusher that
we found in the chest (that we had to use the Childs tears on) in Family Rock. Inside this
cave in an Underground Path 1F, which leads to stairs, which take you to Underground Path
B1F, where there are stairs in the North east, the south east and the south west. South
West leads to more stairs, which take you to a part of Underground Path B2F. The stairs in
the North East corner leads to more stairs, which lead to Platinum Hill, which has a chest
on it with the 4 of spades, as well a pink shards shortcut, which takes you to Younger
Sister Rock. The stairs in the South East bring you to Underground Path B2F.
Lab, the Tauth Doll, is located somewhere in the Underground Path. I cant remember how to
get to.. it either was by going through the South Eastern stairs in B1F, or the South
Western stairs in B1F, which both take you to different parts of B2F.
After you are finished exploring this area, go back out the way you came in so that you
are in Blizzard Lake. Save your progress at the save point just outside the enterance to
the Underground Path. Now go south to the edge of a frozen lake.
Now you have a bit of a puzzle to get through!
I am going to start at the very bottom so that when I skate out I get stuck on the edge of
the lake, right beneath an ice block. Now I wanna go up and be right beneath (get stuck
on) the ice block that is closest to where I came on to the lake from. Then go west all
the way over to the western edge of the lake. Then go up (you won`t go very far at all..
just a step or two.. you still wanna be on the same part of the edge just up a step
higher). Now go east and you`ll be ``stuck`` on the west side of the same ice block that
you were just stuck on (the bottom of before going to the western edge). Now just go north
and you will enter another part of Lake Boreas and another puzzle! There is a chest on
this frozen lake you can get by:
(from the entrance, standing in the lit up part where you just entered from) Go north,
then east, then north and you will bump right in to the chest.. The entrance you want to
go through is just north (and a step or two to to west) of the chest.
From the chest: Go east, then south (should be stopped at the stop of an ice block, you`ll
be back on this block soon so I will call it block a), then west (should be on side of
lake, by entrance).. then walk down south a couple of steps (as far as you can until
you`re right up against the edge of the lake).. then go east (you should be on the west
side of block a now).. Now go north, then west, then north, and you will enter the next
door and be inside the Castle Front. You can walk around freely in here.. there are lots
of ice shards you can break for goodies, and then go up to the door and use the Ice Key.
Now there is one more ice rink puzzle to complete in Ice Hall 1F. There are to exits here.
One is in the south west corner.. one is in the north east corner. The exit in the north
east corner leads to a treasure chest with the 8 of hearts. It is pretty easy to get to
that exit, however I will tell you how to get as I am telling you how to get through to
get to the Princess. The exit we need to get through to continue to the Princess is the
one in the south west corner.. it is very hard to get to and took me over an hour to
figure it out.
So, from the entrance (where right is east and left is west; up is north, down is south):
up, left, up, right, up, right and you will now be at the north east exit (go get the
treasure if you want to and then come back).. so walk down a little from the top (like a
step or two.. you`ll see two cubes near the middle.. you want to be just above them), then
go left (you want to be on the east side of the ice block up against the west wall), down,
right, down, left, up, right, down, left, up, left and then you`re at the exit..
Now that we`re done with all of these puzzles go through it and follow the path all the
way north until you get to a spot where you can go east or west. Go west, which will take
you to some stairs that will take you to Ice Hall 2F where you can now go East or North
east. North east leads to a chest with some Poison Salad, so get the chest if you want it
and then go back and go East. Follow the path (it goes south and then west) in to the next
section. Continue to follow the path north until you come to two chests. Get the items in
the chest.. Make sure you have a good formation of dolls and your HP and MP are stocked
up.. when you are ready, continue north. A scene will now happen and you will battle the
Ice Queen who has Princess Hansel frozen.
Once you beat the Ice Queen, you will receive Princess Hansel`s Sigil to open world three,
as well as access to her doll, which is located in South Eastern Rem Boreas South in the
Spirit Hole.
You will now be brought back to the Gate Room and a scene will occur, a ghost will show up
and the gate to Florin will now open.
Before going to Florin, go back to Rem Boreas to get the Princess Hansel doll.
When you`ve got the doll, return to the Gate Room. You can now save, and go to Shadow
Town, or you can go right to world three.
WORLD 3- FLORIN- ``The Nature Kingdom``
The first thing we need to do is go to the Red Graveyard, which is in the south east I
believe. So go to the red graveyard and follow the path until you see a red flame-like
thing, which ends up being the ghost of Ohana.. go up and talk to her and she will tell
you that she can`t go to Heaven without `his` forgiveness.. he who ``slumbers in the field
of ivory petals``. The ivory petals she is talking about is the White Graveyard, and the
``he`` she is talking about is her lover, Taro. The White Graveyard  is in the north east
I think.. Go there and follow the path until you see a white flame-like thing, which is
the ghost of Taro. Taro asks you to bring a bell flower to Ohana. This part confused me
because it seems like Taro gave you the bell flower, but he didn`t.. you have to go get
the bell flower and then take it to Ohana.
To get the bell flower find your way to Jizou Path. You will see a bunch of statues with
red necks, and one statue on the west side with a blue neck. Click on the statue with the
blue neck and it turns out to be Kenkichi the fox. He will now move out of your way and a
path will open up that leads to the Blue Flower Garden. In the middle of the blue flower
garden is a blue flower.. click on it to receive the bell flower. There is also a thing
that kind of looks like a beehive.. I guess they are stairs or something.. if you go to
that it will take you to a room with a red notebook, which I assume is Princess Rapunzel`s
diary (that one of the statues you talk in this world speaks of.. You don`t pick it up or
use it in this world right now, but you can read the first few pages). Now that you have
the bellflower, take it to the ghost of Ohana in the Red Graveyard. When you give her the
bellflower she will disappear and then we have to go to the White Graveyard. Where the
ghost of Taro was there is now a chest with a thank you from Taro with the numbers 0127,
which we will need later.
Now we want to go to the Sakura Tree (which is in the west of Pond Path somewhere). When
you get there the Mad Hatter will show up and tell you about the Sakura tree. If you go to
the north east corner of this area you will find a Tauth doll named Peso. If you follow
the path in the south west you will come to a green crystal which has the Princesses doll
within it.. Remember this location as it will be accessible once you save the princess.
Now go back to the center of the Pond Path, go north to the Frog Pond, and find your way
to the Thunder Shrine (I think it is the west path you can take from Frog Pond.. go west
to Jizou path and then north.. a scene should happen where you find out about a `torii`..
Thunder tree is just north when that scene happens), where the Thunder Tree is located.
Enter the thunder tree at thunder tree 1F.. You can either go up and east or west.. Go up
& East.. Follow the path in to the next area, which brings you to stairs. Take the stairs
to Thunder tree 2F. Follow path in to the next room where you can now go south or continue
west. Go South and follow the path east and you`ll come to a square, which is a button..
make sure it is pressed in. Now you need to find your way to Thunder Tree 3F.. I am pretty
sure there are stairs that lead to 3F in the north of 2F (where you are right now). Go
find those stairs and enter Thunder Tree 3F.. Walk east and you will find 3 blue portals.
One in the South West corner, one in the South East corner, and one in the North East
corner. You can explore through these portals and the different paths each lead to (I
didn`t write down all that stuff until the later few worlds where it gets very confusing).
I will, however, tell you where to find the Tauth doll, Valen, and the dragon neck, which
is one of your key ingredients. Take the portal that is in the South West corner, which
will take you to a room with a chest (containing the 5 of spades) and 2 more portals (3
including the one you came in through)- one in the north west corner and one in the south
west corner. Go through the one in the South West corner- you can now go east, or down
then west. Go down then west, which will take you to a block- activate the block and a
wall will be put up behind you so you can`t come in the way you came, and a portal will
appear. Take this portal to end up in a part of Thunder Tree 2F- follow the path and end
up and a part where you can go West, East, or North. Go East to find a Tauth doll named
Valen. After you get the doll, go back the way you came and go West, which will take you
to a button and some stairs. Push the button and enter the stairs (if you didn`t push the
button your paths would have been blocked when you came down, or up, the stairs). Now you
can go South or East. Go East and follow the path east then north (only way you can go) in
to a room with a dragon known as the Carnival Beast. Battle her and win to receive a key
ingredient, the Dragon Neck. Once you beat her you can go back out the way you came and go
South at your first chance, which will lead to stairs which lead back to Thunder Tree 1F,
which you can now leave. Once you exit the Thunder Tree and are back in the Thunder
Shrine, take the exit in the north east corner, which leads to Silent Bamboo Forest, where
there will be lots of pinecones to break open and you can go north or continue east. North
takes you to the door leading to the castle (which is locked until you get the key from
Babayaga), so go east and follow path south. As soon as you turn to follow the path south
you will see a grass hut kinda thing, with a door on it.. Enter the door to enter
Babayaga`s Shrine. Right now though, just continue South into next section and you will
come a big snowball.. Push it south in to the water to create a bridge back to Frog Pond.
Go back to the west path from the frog pond and instead of going west the Thunder Shrine,
go East and you will come to a blue flame-like thing known as the Blue Soul. If you tried
to talk to him earlier he just said a poem and giggled, but now that you have Taro`s
Thanks, he will move out of your way. You will now enter Karakuri Graveyard. You will see
a bunch of stones and a bunch of numbers. Push the stones on ALL of the numbers EXCEPT 0,
1, 2 and 7. This will open up stairs to Grave Path, where you will meet an orange spirit
who was trapped. Go east until you come to a spot where you can go South or continue East.
South leads to stairs, which will take you to a part of the Sakura Tree area that is only
accessible through these stairs.. There will be a treasure chest here, which contains a
tomato.. You can only hold one tomato, but remember the location in case you need to grab
another one later! East (from the grave path) leads to a treasure chest with a battle with
Death (who you receive Witches brooms, or Miracle Pills from). If you continue east passed
the treasure chest, and then follow the path (I think it goes north) you will find stairs.
The stairs lead to Soul Land. In the center of Soul Land is a chest that contains the
Hourai Branch, one of your key ingredients.
Now we need to get the Firerat skin.. Go back to Frog Pond and take the North East path,
which leads to the fox and the Triangle Well. Enter the Triangle Well B1F, where you can
go South or West: South leads to room that`s a dead end (which you enter in the east
direction), which contains a treasure chest with a Death battle and a bunch of pinecones
for you to break open.. so go back and take the West route, which will take you to a
ladder. Take the ladder to enter Triangle Well B2F.. There is a chest containing the 5 of
hearts. Go to the room in the very east of Triangle Well B2F to find a button.. press this
button down. If you go to the very north east room, you will find a Tauth doll named
Onion. Somewhere in here a blue portal will appear out of no where (think it is close to
where the doll is;; My notes for where the blue portal is are kinda confusing. It is
either in B2F, or there is a ladder in B2F that will take you back to B1F.. follow the
hall south and a portal will pick you up and take you to a part of B2F with 2 rooms. Go in
the one on the East side and go to the bottom of the room to find a ladder). Explore this
area (that the portal brought you to) until you find a ladder, which brings you to a room
with a chest in it.. You can then go North or West.. Go West to find yourself in a room
with a Frog painted on the wall.. Go up to the wall and select it.. You will then have to
battle the Samurai Frog. After you beat him, a ladder appears in the middle of the room..
Take this ladder, which will bring you to a chest which contains Firerat Skin. After you
get the Firerat skin, the March Hare will appear for a scene, and leaves behind a portal.
Take the portal to be outside of the Triangle Well where the save point is.
- Now we have all three key ingredients and have to take them to Babayaga`s Shrine to
exchange them for the Plant Key. So go to the Silent Bamboo Forest and to Babayaga.
Exchange your ingredients for the key, and then come out and continue North in the Silent
Bamboo Forest until you reach a door.. Your Plant Key will now unlock the door.
Go through the door and you will now be in the Castle Front..
Okay you are going to come to some doors, with either colours, numbers, or shapes on
either side of the door. Before you try figuring it out.. Read this because there are 3
doors, which you have to open each one with the correct matching shapes, numbers, or
colours.. So before opening the first door (any two matching items in the squares beside
the door, will open the door.. however it won`t take you to the castle if you don`t do it
right.. you`ll just keep going through doors and inputting shapes, numbers or colours) pay
close attention to the carpet that is in the room that you are in. Go to the enterance of
where you came in and walk up the carpet and you will see three school of fish, shapes,
colours. The first colour, shape, or number of fish in the school, is what you`ll use to
open the door.. So for example, if you walk in and see a school of 3 fish, then a school
of 5 fish, then a school of 6 fish (north most school in room), then you would change the
number in the squares of the first door to three, then you`d enter another room (and here
a ding upon entering) and go up to the door and change the number in both of the squares
to 5, go through the door and then go to the next door and make the two squares on either
side of it a 6.. then you will enter and be Mayohiga 1F, where you can go east or west. Go
east and follow the path in to the next section, and then follow the path north until you
reach a portal, which leads to another portal, which brings you to two more portals. The
portal in the north east corner brings you to the very north of 1F and ends up bringing
you back to the room with the puzzle doors (which you`ll have to do all over again now
using the current pattern on the carpet), so take the portal in the South East Corner.
This portal brings you to two more portals- one is in the south west corner and one is in
the south east corner. The one in the south west corner brings you down a hallway to a
chest with the 10 of spades in it. So go get it if you want and then go back through the
portal you came in and go take the portal in the South East corner and follow the path in
to the next area, which leads to Mayohiga 2F.. continue to follow the path north to come
to two more portals. One is on the top of (nothern to) the other (call one top portal, and
one bottom portal). Take the one on the top and you will come to a room with two portals-
one is in the north east corner and one is in the south east corner. Take the one in the
South East corner. This will bring you to two chests. Continue following the path North
(once you have your desired formation, and have filled your HP and MP because you`re about
to enter an intense battle) in to the next area.. You will now meet a Dragon, and see
Princess Kaguya trapped in golden bamboo. I found this dragon to be pretty strong.. he
dealt about 500 or more damage per blow, and it took me 5 or 6 rounds to finish him off
using Ancient Magic (if you select the explosion one and instead of bringing it up to hit
the enemy, you bring it to the red dot in the middle of all of your runes, you will deal
waaay more damage.. Eventually you will be able to do this with all of your runes). Once
you beat him, the Princess will be saved and will ask you to go to Oceria, the Water
Kingdom, next to help Princess Aquell.. She opens up the next world for you and grants you
access to her doll in the green crystal.
Before going to the next world, go back to Florin, and go to the green crystal, which is
West of Pond Path.. Get to the Sakura Tree and follow the path in the South West.. This
will bring you to the green crystal.. go up to it to receive the Princess Kaguya Tauth
doll. Now go back to the Gate Room.. and get ready to go to the next world.
WORLD 4- OCERIA- ``The Flooded Kingdom``
This world begins at the Red Sea, which Liddell can walk on. In the South East corner of
the Red Sea is a Tauth doll named Jennop.
Go to the North West corner of the Red Sea. You will see a light in the center of this
area.. Tap it and the Cheshire Cat appears and leaves behind him a portal to Red Coral
Cave. If you go a little south and a little north, there is a card battle location.. If
you win, you`ll receive the queen of spades.. it is really tricky to beat these guys.. if
they don`t run away before the fight starts you have to get them in one round.. I found I
had the best results using an explosion with Liddell, and then a normal attack with Dayna
and Ziggy or Balloy.. Liddell`s will only do 1 damage, but if you`re lucky, your Tauth
dolls will finish it off and get a hit in that does more than 1 damage). Follow the path
(from the enterance of Red Coral cave) South West and you will come  an area where there
are a few different ways you can go South. Both paths lead to the same room with a bunch
of eggs for you to break, and you can now go East or North. Up the East path are some eggs
and a chest with the 6 of hearts in it, and you can follow the path east to meet up with
Dodo.. we have to take that path in a little bit so for now we are going to go North,
which brings you to more eggs and a chest (in this chest is a battle with Death).. there
is also a jellyfish in this area, who will tell you about Sammy the Drifter and his
``amazing treasure``.. Continue North in to the next section and you will come to a sign
telling you the direction of the castle, the pirate hideout, and the jellyfish house. From
this room that the sign is, you can find a tomato in a chest if you go East in to the next
section.. in the north of this room is the chest. Okay, so from the room with the sign in
it, we need to find a Jellyfish Kid... So we will go and take the South East path (I wrote
down south east, but I really think it is south west.. Unless the South East path goes
South West once you get on it.. but I remember him being in the West of Red Coral Cave,
though I may be wrong because I was lost until I found him) and find the Jellyfish kid,
who you have to take to apologize to his father.
Now that you have the Jellyfish Kid following you, you need to take him to his father in
Jellyfish House. Remember where Dodo was.. Follow the path North passed Dodo.. You`ll see
a path going in the east direction that you have to break eggs to get through.. stay on
the west path going North, and eventually you will see an entrance on the side of the
wall. Enter this cave to enter Jellyfish House, where you will find the Jellyfish Kid`s
father. There is a scene and they tell you that you need to find the Air Seed in the
Pirate Hideout in order to go beyond them).
Before entering the Pirate Hideout, you can go battle Sammy the Drifter.. You need to
battle him and win three different times to receive one of your key ingredients. You can
find him in Western Red Coral Cave.. He isn`t too strong-- only does about 2-300 damage
per strike, and only took two rounds to beat with my players at levels 38, 39 and 35. Now
let`s go to the Pirate Hideout.
Enter the Pirate Hideout at Pirate Hideout 1F. There is a gate, which blocks your path
north, so continue to follow the path West to enter a room with a button, which you need
to press.. (There is also a card battle location here.. I didn`t beat him before he left
the scene, so I am not sure which card it was.. though I will include a full card list
with locations at the end of this walkthrough). This button will open the gate that was
blocked going north. So go back out the way you came in and follow the path North until
you get to a spot where you can continue north or go west. North is blocked right now with
a gate, so go west, which takes you to some stairs.. Enter the stairs, which take you to
Pirate Hideout B1F. Follow the path East (while noting the Northern path that is blocked
by a gate) in to the next section. Follow the path North where you can (between two paths
that are blocked by a gate), and press the button. After you press the button, both gates
on either side of you will open and the paths will now be accessible. The path to your
East leads to another gate blocking your way, so take the one of your West, which will
bring you to a button. Press the button to unlock the gate that was blocking your path if
you would have went up the East path instead of the west. Now go take that path on the
East after you`ve pushed the button. Follow the path until you see a button.. Press it.
There is also a chest in this room (you have to fight 3 pirates to get a treasure). Once
you press the button, go North, where you will find a Tauth doll named Mosalisk. Now we
want to go back the way we came.. back to the beginning of the Pirate Hideout where we
found our first blocked gate going North (and had to go west). That gate is now unlocked
so go through and follow the path North and you will find some stairs. Take the stairs and
you will end up in Pirate Hideout B2F.. There is a chest right in front of you (with
another fight with 3 pirates). Go North (as South is currently blocked) and you will come
to a button. Press the button and go back to follow the path South (that was blocked
before you pressed the button).. Follow this path and you will come to a room where your
menu cannot be accessed. You will see a strange blue thing on the ground.. Continue East
into next section.. Where you have two paths that go north.. The one farthest away from
you on the East side leads to 2 chests (one with the 6 of clubs and one is another Pirate
fight).. Go get the chests if you want but then come back and take the other path that
goes north (west of the far path you just went up). This will bring you to a button. Press
this button and the strange blue thing you walked passed shoots water. Go stand on the
shooting water and you will be shot into a room with numbers 1, 2 and 3 appearing and
disappearing on the ground. You want to get to the north west corner I believe.. You do
this by standing on a number and moving to the next before it disappears.. The numbers
disappear in order (first 1, then 2, then 3) so the best way to do it is to step on a 1,
then when the 2 appears, step on the 2, and then go for a 3. You can move more than one at
a time as long as you make sure you aren`t on any black.. You can`t go diagonally if the
squares around it are black.. If you hit any black you will be shot out of the room and
have to go press the button again and start all over.
Once you get across the puzzle you will come to a portal. Take this portal to end up in a
room in Pirate Hideout B2F that has some stairs in it. Take these stairs and you will come
to a chest (pirate fight for treasure) and more stairs. These stairs take you to a chest
surround by eggs. Break the eggs and open the chest to receive Red Coral, one of your key
ingredients. Go in to the next room, which is to your East, which will bring you to the
other side of an area that was blocked (and stayed blocked) with a gate. There is a Pirate
Jellyfish in here.. Beside him is a button. Press this button and take the North path..
this will bring you to the Air Seed.
Now that we have the Air Seed, we can enter Blue Coral Cave. There is an entrance to Blue
Coral Cave in North East of Pirate Hideout 1F. When you enter the Blue Coral Cave, your HP
will decrease. Once you enter an area outside of the cave, your HP will go back to what it
was when you entered.. You cannot use magic items to give you more health while you are in
the areas that your HP decreases in. This confused me a bit because I thought the Air Seed
made it so you could walk around in Blue Coral Cave and your HP wouldn`t deplete at all,
but no.. There are now Air Bubbles all around the map. Go to these to bring your HP back
up to what it was when you entered the cave.
Okay, so we are now in Blue Coral Cave (via the Pirate Hideout entrance). If you follow
the path North you will find one of the Air Bubbles, it is close to a chest with the 7 of
spades in it. In the very North of Blue Coral Cave is Sea Lord Palace. Go there. You will
see a bunch of seaweed things that take you one way. Follow them until you come to some
stairs in the East (I think you have to follow the path around- first going West, then
follow path North, East, and South and you will come to some stairs). Enter these stairs
to come to the Turtle Puzzle.
There are 3 turtles. You can also see a bunch of blue portals. These blue portals lead
back to beside the stairs you just came in through and are there incase you mess up and
get stuck on an island and cannot move. Okay so you want to go to the Orange Turtle. Tap
him and stand on his back. He will make you fly so that you are on the ledge thing below
the turtle in the middle. When the orange turtle comes back down so he is in front of the
middle turtle, get back on him and go diagonally so you end up on the ledge that is to the
west of that big purple thing. Then wait for the orange turtle to make it`s way up so it`s
going east and walk across his back and in to the door in front of you. Through this door
you will find a Tauth doll named Peyton, and a portal, which will take you back to the
stairs.. Now go back to the Turtle Puzzle and do the same thing you just did, except now
instead of going through the door, you need to get to the west side of the door. To do
this get on the orange turtle and do everything the same, except instead of running across
his back when he is in the middle, you have to wait until he is starting to go passed the
door and almost about to go south.. then you have to run across his back diagonally kind
of. (I found this part very tricky.. It took me many tries to get it, I kept getting
knocked down when trying to get beside the door.. But after a bunch of tries I got it,
thank goodness). Once you get to the area just west of the door you went in to get Peyton,
find the stairs in this area and take them. Follow the path, which leads you south then
east. You will come to some buttons that won`t stay down and some rocks. Ignore them for
now and follow the path until you come to stairs, which take you to B3F. Follow the path
North until you come to a place where you can go east or west. First, go East and follow
the path (leads north) until you come to a button. Press it and go back and take the West
Path.. This path also takes you north to a button. Press it and go south. A gate will be
open that wasn`t before for a path leading East (below the first eastern path we took here
in B3F). Take this path and follow it south, where you will come to another button- Press
it. Go back North (way we came) and go to the top where you will find a chest that has
Fish Medicine in it. We will need this later. Continue North and follow the path back to
the center. Go through the West passage and follow south until you come to some stairs on
the East of a room. It will take you to a room with a button. Press the button and then
take the stairs to leave the room.. Go South until you get back to the middle south room
in B3F. Take stairs back to B2F. Now go North to the area with the rocks and the buttons.
The buttons in this area will now stay down when pushed... Push the first button you see,
then go East, push the next.. then go North and push the next and then go West and push
the next. Now follow the path North where you can go west or east. West is a chest with
the 6 of diamonds.. East there is a chest and some stairs. Take these stairs, which lead
to more stairs- take them too. Now follow the path (goes in a big C shape-- only way you
can go) and go south in to the next area. You will then come to a sea horse named Twirl
Source, who tells you of the Black Pearl. Then, you have to battle Twirl Source (he isn`t
too strong- deals 300 or more damage; can beat him in 2 rounds with ancient magic). When
you beat him, you will receive the Black Pearl and a red portal will appear.
