first you need at least 50,000 bells then bury them in a hole and water them and wait a few days and there you go 50,000 dollar bags growing on the tree

Actually you don't.

This is what I did:

I got my golden shovel,(easy) and then I got a four leafed clover, and then I buried it(Well I planted it) and then I planted 30,000 bells in the ground next to it and then I time traveled 4 days and then I got a money tree!
