ok, ok, what you have to do is go to your town gate, talk to the posh dog on the right. After he greets you, select 'Friend Code!'. If you don't have one he will say 'What's this? You have not yet been issued a friend code! Would you like me to connect to Nintendo Wi-Fi so that you can get one?' Select 'Go for it!'. If you are beside a compatible access point, you should get one. Unfortunately, I have yet to do this so I can't go on Wi-Fi at the moment. Sorry! I'll be on it soon though!
