To get the golden shovel by 2 normal shovels at tom nooks shop.
then bury 1 of them.
Then wait 24 hours (one day!) and dig it up.
walla!! out comes a golden shovel.

To get the hair salon (known as Shampoodle),
you must have the last of Tom Nook's upgrades.
It is called Nookingtons, which is pretty much
a mall. In it is Shampoodle, a salon. To get Nookingtons,
you have to have had an out of town friend shop
at Nook's, and you have to have sold /purchased
240000 items.

Shampoodle is run by Harriet, a pink french
poodle. She will ask you a series of questions
as to your hair style. LOTS of questions. (It's
not super simple, so listen up!)


III. GIRL STYLES


Styling your hair is not that simple. So
here is a special guide to your hair. the "a"
means the top answer and the "b" means the bottom
answer.

Answers

warm type= a, a, a

You will have a natural, plain style that is
short hair with no bangs but flipped out ends.

self assured type= a, a, b

You have short, puffy waves with with short bangs.
It's a very cute look, actually.

trendy type= a, b, a

If Harriet considers you the trendy type, you
get a simple bun that looks great in blue or pink.
It's very chic.

laid back type= a, b, b

All you end up with is short hair with no
volume whatsoever. But-- it has bangs. Very
cute.

approachable type= b, a, a

For the more sophisticated type, you end
up with long hair that has bangs brushed
to the side, and flipped out ends. Great
for blondes.

fun loving type= b, a, b

You'll get one ponytail in the back with
bangs. It looks great in orange.

confident type= b, b, a

If you are confident, you'll have two
pigtails to the side, which is great
if you have a big ACWW party.

reserved type= b, b, b

You're more reserved You win three pigtails:
1 on top and 2 to the sides. Congrats!


IV. BOY STYLES


For boy styles, the questions are the same.
You just get different styles.
a= top b= bottom

warm type= a, a, a

It's pretty much almost a buzz cut.

self assured type= a, a, b

You have short hair and uneven bangs.

trendy type= a, b, a

Your hair is sort of uneven in the back,
but you get a cowlick in front.

laid back type= a, b, b

It's basically a bowl cut.

approachable type= b, a, a

You have bangs and short hair.

fun loving type= b, a, b

Your hair is parted down the middle.

confident type= b, b, a

You have long hair in the back with bangs over
your eye.

reserved type= b, b, b

It's spiky all over your head. Wonderful
to catch a girls heart.

As for colors, these are your choices.

WARM
Safe= light brown
Lighthearted= blonde
Fiery= orangy-red
Flirty= pink

COLD
Mysterious= dark brown
Young= blue
Lush= green
Radiant= white


V. A SPECIAL HAIR SECRET

After you have had every hair style done
and every color done, you can get styles
done from the opposite gender. It's really
cool, because you can fool your friends.

Get pics: send 6 letters (or more) to desired animal. go to an outside place where no one can see you.

Find animal after 5 minutes or so.
they should have a ! over their heads. might give pic. keep trying if not. :P

NOTe make sure animal is walking around outside (not in house) or this wont work

To get a four leaf clover just pick loads of weeds and they sell at high prices

To catch a bee, take equipment out of your hands(you can have an umbrella) shake trees untill a behive falls out. QUICKLY go to your pockets. get out your net. when your in your pockets, they wont sting you. watch the bees on the top screen. when they're about to pass in front of your face, leave your pockets and SWING!! you may miss(and get stung) but if you catch one, no bee sting! you can sell it for about 1500 or 4500 bells(i dont remember. i think its the 4500 one, though) you get 3 chances a day(3 trees a day have a hive)
you can buy medicine or save&quit to get your sting away. residents will make fun of you if you talk to them(unless they have a '!' over their heads, then you can talk)

Changing Pocket Background:
1.Get your favorite piece of clothing.
2.You see the bottom left corner hole? Drag & drop there.
3. Ta-da!

Save bed change:
1. Get different bed.
2. Go up to Save room, and go to bottom of your current bed.
3. It'll say stuff and click "Change bed" or something like that.
4. Ta-da! New bed!

Golden Axe: Give a Scallop Seashell to Pascal. This requires some trading. Start by purchasing a Red Turnip from Joan. Trade it to Wendel for a Turban or Country Guitar when he appears in town. If Wendel gave you a Turban, trade it to Sahara for a Massage Chair or Red Vase when she comes to town. If Sahara gave you a Massage Chair, trade it to Tortimer on the next holiday to get the Scallop Seashell.
Golden Bug Net: Catch one of each type of bug.
Golden Fishing Rod: Catch one of each type of fish.
Golden Roses: Plant red roses next to one another until black roses appear. Use the Golden Watering Can to water dying black roses. They will appear as golden the next day.
Golden Shovel: Bury regular shovel in the ground. When dug up after 24 hours, it will be a Golden Shovel.
Golden Timer: Obtain the Golden Axe, Golden Bug Net, Golden Fishing Rod, Golden Shovel, Golden Slingshot, and Golden Watering. Tortimer will give you the Golden Timer.
Golden Slingshot: Shoot fifteen items out of the sky. A Golden Slingshot will appear in the sky. Shoot it down to collect it.
Golden Watering Can: Keep the environment perfect for sixteen consecutive days to get a Golden Watering Can from Pelly or Phyllis.

All you have to do is:

1. Plant YELLOW TUPLIPS.
2. Plant RED TULIPS and WHITE TULIPS either side of the yellow ones.
3. Water them EVERY DAY. (Unless it's raining)
4. Get PURPLE TULIPS.
5. The PEACOCK BUTTERFLY should appear in about 10 seconds.
6. Catch the PEACOCK BUTTERFLY.

What you do is the day before a point special at Nook's get as much bells as you can, say 200,000-1,000,000 bells. The next day go into nook's and order ther most expensive (spelling) item in the calalog (is the spelling right) much as you can until you can't order items anymore. If you still want more points buy everything else in the store.
(there's no point on buying flowers,saplings or sedar saplings because the are too cheap and don't give any points)
(if in Nookingtons the hari salon doesn't give you points)

Ever wondered why your characters (spelling) have different styles when you start a new person, well I've got the answer!
When you press "new resident" on the main menu screen you will be in a car with a driver called Kap'n (I don't know how to spell his name). Well depending on the answers you give Kap'n will deturmain (spelling) how you look. For instance I said Yeah it stincks,Yep it's burly,Right on, I'm moving and Kinda... I turned out having normal sized black eyes with brown hair and I can't remember what shirt and what type of hair because it was over 1 year ago. I recemend if you are a boy to get the same style as me cause' it is my favourite stle and it is awsome. I hope this helped and pretty please rate this good.

The scallop is used to get the golden axe from Pascal. Pascal walks around by the beach at a random time, once a week. First, you need to buy a red turnip from Joan. Next, give it to Wendel the next time he comes to town. Wendel should give you the Turban or Country Guitar. If you get the Turban, take it to Sahara when she comes to town. Sahara should give you either the Massage Chair or Red Vase. If you get the Massage Chair, let Tortimer have it the next holiday and he should give you the scallop. Then just wait for Pascal to sho wup and give him the scallop.

But if you got the Country Guitar, give it to K.K. Slider to get K.K.'s Pic
And if you got the Red Vase, give it to Crazy Redd in exchange for the Safe. Give the safe to Tom Nook for the Tom Nook Pic.

Go to Tom Nook's store and buy TWO of all the tools in cluding the timer. Empty your pockets of everything except the tools and go to the ocean. Put the fishing pole in your hands and catch two fish. Once you have done this, get the shovel out and dig 3 holes behind u. Then you will be able to walk on water!!!!!!!!

If you have Elvis (The lion) in your town you are in luck.
Step1- Send 1 gift to Elvis 1 time a day.
Step2- Every day check the recycling bin AFTER you've sent him the gift.
Step3- Eventually you will find a throne!

Buy 2 shovels bury 1. The next day dig up the shovel (or just change the date on the ds) And it will be golden. If Anything goes wrong plz plz tell me!!!! :-):} lol By By have fun playing

1. Go to the 1/1 of any month
2. Your "mom" should give you a letter to celebrate the new year
3. She'll give you a present of 10 000 bells
4. Go exactly one year to the future and you'll receive another letter
5. Repeat this process
NOTE: This process takes a while. And you WILL get weeds with it.
Also if a neighbour has a birthday in January they'll keep sending you letters unt il they actually move which can take ten years!

This is an easier way to cover a hole on the ground. First, dig a hole with your shovel. Next, put your shovel back into your pockets. Then, press A while you're in front of the hole. Your character just kicked the dirt inside the hole! This is easier if you have no tools in your hands and forgot to cover the holes. It's not really a cheat, though. Sorry! It does work.

To get all the fruits ( Apple,Pear,Orange,Cherry and Peach ) wait till you somehow aquire 4 fruit furnitures. By that I mean the pear bed, the water melon table, the orange chair you know what I mean. Anyway put these in letters which are addressed to diffrent neighbours. Time travel to the next day and check you're mail box. Half if not all the neighbours will have replyed and sent you a prezzy. Open the presant and it will be a fruit that is not curruntly growing on your trees. If you want to, after planting a good deal of these trees you can sell them for ( check this ) 5000,00 bells! Nah only kidding just 500 but still thats more than before right! By the way if you want to plant these new fruits you will need to put the fruit in a hole of a chopped down tree or put a 4 leaf clover by it. You will need the golden shovel for this.
