Well, some of these answers aren't entirely true. You see, as noted you get a tan for
staying outside for well about 2 hours. The only thing you can REALLY do about it,
however, is to play the waiting game. It'll fade over time, depending how dark it is. Just
try to stay in houses most of the time, you can still play the game, nonetheless. Simply
stepping outside for 15 minutes won't lengthen the time you must wait as long as you keep
moving.
Now, I've never heard of the umbrella/hat solution, so that's always worth a try.
